About this trip
This six-day Buggy Raid with four days of riding takes us on varied routes over the Carpathian Mountains from Sibiu to the Iron Gate of the Danube River near Timisoara. We spend the nights in typical guest houses and ride on forest roads and tracks suitable for Buggies. A highlight beside the mountain landscape is the boat trip on the Danube River through the Iron Gate..
The daily stages are between 120 and 140 km long. The level of difficulty is tailored to beautiful and relaxed enduro riding through the hills of the Hungarian Lake Balaton region. The tour is structured in such a way that we don't start too early in the morning and reach the midday point after about 3 hours and then the hotel in another three hours. We have enough time for lunch and a cozy get-together in the hotel in the evening to enjoy the tour.
You take your luggage with you in the buggy, ideally you take a 40L dry bag with you, which you wrap in a plastic bag to protect it from dust and mud.

Itinerary
You fly to Sibiu Airport, from where we pick you up at the gate and bring you to the hotel in the center (10 min. drive). Welcome by the tour manager, briefing on the tour and collection of the rental bikes. Evening free.
