Volunteer at a soup kitchen and learn how to cook an authentic Jamaican dish while making a big impact on underserved individuals. By providing meals, you can extend your kindness to the community, and by accompanying staff to deliver food to shut-ins, you can ensure that everyone receives a warm meal and friendly face. 

Continue working at the summer school doing the activities from Monday based on your interests and skills. 

Travel to the Blue & John Crow Mountains and get presentations and discussions by local farmers on coffee processing. Participate in a group service learning activity about the traditional method of processing coffee. This comprehensive farm-to-cup experience gives an in-depth look at the coffee process through a traditional lens from picking to pulping, parchment, and roasting. End this session by sampling a cup of the world-famous Blue Mountain Coffee. 

Start your day with an early morning hike. Join our community walking tour to see Jamaica before it wakes up. 

Kingston City Tour

Explore Kingston the 'Cultural Mecca of the Caribbean' and learn about its rich history and culture. Visit a local university, shop in the heart of the island, and explore downtown where you'll see the city’s picturesque waterfront.

Continue your service project work and collaborate with your new friends on a variety of projects to benefit the summer camp. Depending on your interests and skills, you could continue to work on remedial reading, math, arts and crafts, leadership development, or cultural awareness and organizational skills. 

Journey to Jamaica’s premier attraction, Dunns River Falls and climb it in a human chain led by an experienced guide. It’s pure pleasure…feel the thrill as water comes tumbling over your head and savor the memory for a lifetime. 

After an exciting day with your new friends, your trip will culminate with a Jamaican Night Celebration. Embrace Jamaica’s culture with mouth-watering food and pastries. Dance to the rhythm of Reggae music. Spend the night celebrating all your hard work with those who you have met along the way. Have Fun... Fun... Fun…
