Expressive, Loose Watercolors - Flowers to Figures
Fresh, beautiful flowers in the studio will be the inspiration for the beginning of this dynamic workshop — progressing to the head and figure. Through a series of quick and fun drawing and painting exercises, students will develop a more loose and natural approach, giving all an opportunity to be more spontaneous and expressive in their paintings. In our approach to learning how to interpret the head and figure, we will learn to express translucent flesh tones, while focusing on the gesture of the person. Painting children will also be covered. We will work primarily from photos (you can work from mine, which I will provide to you — ones I will demo plus extra that may interest you). Please feel free to bring your own photos also — ones that inspire you!
Besides class demonstrations throughout the workshop, Janet will work individually with each student also, making sure they understand the painting concepts — a truly “hands on” experience. Focusing on discovering how to control and making dynamic color, design and expression, we will also have an optional “Show and Tell” — an opportunity to share and see how we exceeded our expectations!!

Janet Rogers
Janet Rogers has been a working professional artist for over 45 years, and is a National Instructor, conducting workshops across the United States and Europe. She is a Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society of America, Florida Watercolor Society, as well as others, winning awards for her paintings. As well as a popular National Instructor, she has demonstrated extensively for various groups and exhibitions.
Four instructional DVDs have been filmed on Janet’s work (produced and available through Cheap Joes Art Stuff). She is also featured in published articles, books and on YouTube.

Willow I Our Super Cute Glamping Camper
We now have a super cute glamping camper!
It is a cozy 25 feet off-grid with a queen size bed, dinette with comfy cushions,
A very spacious bathroom for a cozy camper (it even has a shower!)
It sits in the quiet back area of our property with views of majestic willow trees.
We are dressing it up in the same cozy, beautiful, and colorful linen bedding that we have in our guest rooms... it will be a beautiful getaway!
This cozy abode is meant for one person. Private space/Private bath.
Our other rooms in the main house are $2900 but our glampers are only $2500 plus tax

Itinerary
