I was registered for EBC trek, but due to weather condition the plan changed and completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek with ACE Himalaya on September 2025, and I am deeply disappointed with the experience due to the unprofessional and uncooperative conduct of our assigned guide. While the breathtaking scenery of the Annapurna region was a highlight, the guide’s performance significantly diminished what should have been an incredible adventure. From the start, the guide was uncooperative and dismissive. When we raised concerns about fatigue and requested minor itinerary adjustments around Day 3,4, 5, he brushed us off without discussion, leaving us feeling ignored and unsupported. Additionally, the guide’s attitude was consistently unprofessional. Given ACE Himalaya’s reputation, I expected a knowledgeable, cooperative, and professional guide to enhance the experience, but this was far from the case. The poor service overshadowed the natural beauty of the trek and left me regretting my choice of operator. I hope ACE Himalaya addresses these issues through better guide training and selection to prevent future disappointments.

The guide and porter are polite but just ordinary company nothing special

This has been a fantastic experience and once in a lifetime adventure. I am super happy to have chosen Ace the Himalaya to help me to fulfill my long standing dream to make it to the basecamp! I am extremely happy with Ace - it was perfect from the moment I booked the trip: Ace team responses to my inquiries, providing information on packing and helpful tips - to the moment I completed the trek. The organization of the trek is superb! Huge thanks to our guide Sunil Neupane and porter Deepak - they were stellar and this adventure would not be possible without both of them! Sunil is an amazing guide, who is super positive, he kept us at ease, relaxed and we felt that everything was under his magic control. Sunil is trully wonderful guide - he is passionate about the mountains, Nepali culture, and making the best experience for his guests. Further I really appreciated that Ace is a local Nepali company who employs locals, care about sustainability and impact for the communities - Ace has equipped all guides with water filters so that we did not need to buy any (!) bottled water or use purification tablets. Our accommodation was stellar all the way and Ace did not take any shortcuts. Hot showers, where possible were much appreciated! Upon completion of trek, we had debrief and dinner with our guide and it felt that Ace went above and beyond. I highly recommend using Ace when planning your trek in Nepal.

This trip was absolutely the best. Our accommodations were terrific and everyday our guide, Ganesh made sure we had everything we needed. This was my second trip with Ace the Himalaya and could not be happier with them. They are very response to pre trip emails and even helped us set up a birthday cake for one of our group!
