About this trip

Join us September 20 for KNIT + DESIGN ON THE FARM - a fun-filled day of knitting classes, catching-up, and shopping in the newly remodeled event barn at Tiashoke Farm. This year we welcome instructor and designer Tamy Gore, the incredible creative force behind Narrow Path Designs, for a day of learning on the farm. Tamy’s talent has given us some of our favorite patterns of all time.

Our free afternoon trunk show and pop-up shop will feature Tamy’s amazing patterns and knitted samples; and yarns from nearby Battenkill Fibers and Foster Sheep Farm. This will be a great chance to mingle, shop in the Tiashoke Farm Store, and sample wines being offered by our friends at South Dominion Vineyard and Winery

Color Dynamics and Color Planning

In this workshop we will learn how colors intersect in order to gain more confidence when choosing our next knitting project. Everyone has a color palette that they are drawn to, whether bright and summery, or warm, muted and autumnal. Learn what your color language is and let's expand that, so as to broaden our color vocabulary!

A fabulous trip as usual for Battenkill Textile Tours. Good accommodations, great food and many, many Interesting things to do... especially the fiber related workshops, visits to museums and fiber shopping opportunities!

It was an amazing trip! Weather was perfect, the 3 classes we had excellent, and the second and third hotels were very comfortable. The first one was ok but not quite up to snuff. There were some last minute changes in itinerary and the bus driver and tour leader handle them well.
