Our trip was amazing! Santiago was the best guide. He made sure we saw everything we wanted and so much more. Every day was packed with adventure and opportunities to see the best birds and wildlife. Santiago is very knowledgeable about the area and has a deep connection to nature. Additionally, he made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip and made adjustments for our capabilities as needed. The accommodations and food were excellent. This was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We can’t wait for our next adventure.

Highly recommend this tour! We had an amazing day with Santiago who is very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about nature. The scenery was beautiful and the wildlife abundant. The hot springs were the perfect end to the day. Santiago pulled it all together for us 24 hours prior to the day. We plan to take more tours with Neotropical in the future.

Bellavista is a remarkable place, high in the cloud forest. Everything about the stay was outstanding..great birds, great people, great service...and 3 Spectacled Bears! Our trip was organized at the last minute by Gaby at Neotropical Birding and, as always, she did a great . Thank you!!

We had a fantastic trip. Saw a great variety of birds and animals. Accommodations were comfortable and clean and food was very good. Our guide and host Santiago Salazar was excellent, highly knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be with. We look forward to scheduling future trips with Santiago and Neotropical.

Santiago is the BEST guide ever and my favorite guide I’ve ever had. I’ve been on excursions with him 6 times. The thing I love the most is that he doesn’t just know birds. He knows about ecosystems, insects, flowers, plants, everything to do with nature. I have food allergies and he was always very attentive to making sure there was food I could eat. The trip was amazing. The parts of Brazil we were in were breathtakingly beautiful. We saw tons of birds, the food was amazing. Everything was just wonderful!!
