Group Excursions and Themed Events

Themed Events (typically a color or style of outfit) may occur on group bookings. It is optional to participate in the event if the event, however if you do choose to participate with the group, we ask that all travelers adhere to any requirements provided by your travel agent in order to have a cohesive group. Themed events will be provided NLT 30 days prior to travel.  

Covid-19 Information

As of April 23, 2022, all passengers and crew members do not need to present a COVID-19 Vaccination Card, PCR, or antigen test to enter the Dominican Republic or to enter tourist centers, any establishments or to receive services such as excursions. Random COVID-19 testing for passengers and crew upon arrival in the Dominican Republic will no longer be performed. However, when required, random testing operations may be performed. Passengers who present their Vaccination Card will be exempted from random testing.

E-TICKET

The Dominican Republic adopted an electronic system providing digital versions of the Traveler’s Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration, and International Embarkation/Disembarkation forms, combined in a single digital form. All passengers entering and departing the country on commercial flights will be required to fill out and submit their digital forms through the Electronic Ticket Portal either before or upon their arrival to the country. To save time during the arrival procedure, we recommend filling out the form at least 72 hours before the trip, printing or making a screenshot of the QR code and keeping it on hand until arrival, where it will be scanned by the authorities when the passenger goes through Customs. Passengers will need to fill out a form for arrival and another one for departure and the system will generate two QR codes. The QR code will not be scanned during departure, but it is a confirmation that the form was completed correctly. If you need to make a change to the form, in the E-ticket portal you can select the option to consult the issued E-ticket, enter the application code of the form and make the necessary changes. Dominican airports have free internet access, so that passengers who did not fill out the form before flying can do so when they arrive in the country. Passport, Visa & Entry Requirements

All foreign citizens who enter the Dominican Republic, exclusively for tourism purposes, must have a valid passport during their stay and departure from the country.

Excursions

Note:  A Minimum of 2 people is needed to operate any tour. Some tours have a max of 15 people, so groups may be split up in two small groups to accommodate anyone interested when the count exceeds (15). Excursions can be added later; but must be added NLT 90 prior to departure (subject to availability).

Bookings, Refunds and Cancellations

Individuals with multiple trips booked with Cozmic Travel LLC must be in good standing with payments. Cozmic Travel LLC reserves the right to refuse bookings to anyone. 

All payments to Cozmic Travel LLC are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cozmic Travel LLC has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds (unless you have purchased travel insurance).  You may purchase any travel insurance of your choosing to cover your non-refundable portions of your trip. This way we can keep our package prices competitive and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation. Deposits are always non-refundable.  

Due to the vendor relationships that Cozmic Travel LLC has with its vendors, we try to keep from modifying or cancelling our contractual agreements. Cancellations affect the entire group traveling (especially your roommate), therefore we highly suggest you choose wisely when selecting a travel mate.  Any cancelations may result in higher deposits or up-front package prices on future trips. Cozmic Travel LLC is not liable for any roommate cancelations and changes in prices as a result of an occupancy change.
