After breakfast, the group will depart Kruger National Park and head toward Barberton, a region rich in ancient geology and history. The highlight of the day is the Big Foot Tour, where travelers will learn about the area’s ancient human history and geological significance, including the famous giant footprint fossil.
On Day 7, the group will visit Adam’s Calendar, one of the oldest known man-made structures on the planet (think Stonehenge but much much older and larger). Located in Mpumalanga, this sacred site is believed to have astronomical significance, and its origin continues to be a subject of archaeological interest, however increasingly modern Africans are remembering our precolonial past and connection with the stars.
