Begin 2018 with a transformative raw food, yoga, Aerial Yoga Play, and sound healing retreat in the lush tropical north shore of Maui in Hawaii, surrounded by wild exotic fruit trees and flowing waterfalls. You will leave this retreat spiritually inspired, physically detoxed, and mentally empowered to take your new understanding of holistic health and apply it to your daily life.
You will empower yourself to live at your highest potential while vacationing in paradise. This retreat will cleanse your body with fresh organic live food bursting with nutrients and flavor as well as learn how to make your own gourmet raw food at home. Your day will begin with the chirping of tropical birds as you awaken in a lush nature sanctuary. You will enjoy a raw breakfast followed by a two hour Hatha yoga, Aerial Yoga Play, and sound healing session.
Next is another raw gourmet meal followed by free time to explore the local jungles and waterfalls, come back for a raw food cooking class, and then enjoy your creations for dinner. This special retreat offers daily raw food classes, three gourmet raw food meals, aerial yoga play classes, and sound healing sessions.
Experience the healing power of yoga and sound. You will begin your day with an amazing two hours program. Your class will begin on the mat with a 45-minute Hatha / Kundalini yoga warm up to the ground, connect with the breath, and open the spine. You will then move into the new technology of the Aerial Yoga Play swings where students from ages 10 to 87 have experienced incredible empowerment and inspiration.
The session completes with a 30 to 45-minute journey into the world of sacred sound and the healing 432 Hertz frequencies of the crystal singing bowls and live music and soundscapes. During the sound meditations, you will embark on specific journeys that may include chakras, organs, energy bodies, astral travel, or other transformational journeys.
Daily raw food classes will offer an overview of raw food as a healthy choice and a gourmet culinary celebration. The classes will be hands-on and utilize common health food store pantry items as well as foraged fruit and vegetables from Maui.
Topics to be covered will include raw food basics, fermentation, kombucha, nut cheese, raw chocolate, cheesecakes, good fats, types of sweeteners, the uses and nutritional values, superfoods, enzymes, equipment, and how to make nutritious food that is delicious of course.
Heather Salmon
Heather has been cleansing and on a healing path for over 30 years and has led hundreds of people in guided cleanses. She has been a sound healer for 15 years and works with 432 Hertz crystal singing bowls, as well as voice and other instruments. She is trained in numerous healing arts, including yoga, advanced clinical hypnotherapy, reflexology, aromatherapy, astrology, Reiki master, Huna, and intuitive healing, and holds a degree in Economics from the University of Toronto. She is also an ordained priestess of Isis and the Essenes and founded the Black Swan Temple in 2010.
Donny Regal
Donny is the visionary creator of the Black Swan Temple Sanctuary. He works with music as a spiritual source of inspiration, healing, and spiritual awakening. He has provided musical support for spiritual events, ceremonies, dances, and Tantric pujas for the last 25 years, and has worked with Sophia and other spiritual recording artist, as a producer and musician, to create many spiritual and new age albums.
Kyra Bramble
Kyra is a health ninja. She is a plant-based chef, yogi, wild-crafter, nutrition master, and all-around lover of life. She sees food as a way to share her soul with the world as she believes that through the food, you can learn about spirituality, science, history, and your own unique bodies. She has a Le Cordon Bleu degree from California Culinary Academy, a Wild-crafter Certification from Earth Medicine Institute, is a RYT from Mangala Yoga, and is currently working towards a Holistic Nutrition Consultant through Hawthorn University.
This yoga retreat will take place at Black Swan Temple Maui in Hawaii, USA. This tropical jungle earth temple is surrounded by waterfalls and situated in a very sacred part of the island that was known as the home of the owl, the resting place of mature souls and a place where Hawaiian royalty received training. If you are needing the amenities and creature comforts of modern hotels, this is not the place for you. If you are adventurous and are willing to unplug and tune into nature then this nature temple will be paradise. You will wake up to beautiful sunrises and the sounds of nature.
The 2.5-acre sanctuary is a living food forest with coconut, papaya, banana, avocado, starfruit, orange, lemon and lime trees, a garden full of organic greens and passion fruit. Black Swan Temple Maui also has giant bamboo, exotic tropical flowers, and gardens. Moreover, the temple has gorgeous Indonesian art, statues, and fountains throughout. Black Swan Temple Maui is somewhat rustic and does not have air conditioning.
In general, Black Swan Temple Maui has good cell service, especially for Verizon. With satellite internet which is not the strongest service. It is recommended that you plan on unplugging and taking a retreat from the internet during your time here.
Black Swan Temple has simple yet beautifully appointed Balinese cabins as well as a suite with a private bathroom. These cozy cabins are nestled in the tropical garden creating privacy for each. These cabins are somewhat rustic and have a shared bathroom and an outdoor shower. There is a lovely suite also available with its own private bathroom. There are limited satellite Wi-Fi and no television. There is a communal kitchen, office space, and a far infrared sauna that is also available for the guests. Classes and workshops take place in the beautiful sanctuary.
The retreat is all inclusive of gourmet raw food that will tantalize your taste buds, rejuvenate your mind, and allow your body to cleanse without feeling deprived.
For breakfast, you can expect fresh fruit, raw pastries, fresh nut milk, superfood smoothies, and cold pressed coffee (yes, you can have coffee). For lunch, you will anticipate rich and innovative salads, raw chips, and spreads. For dinner, you will look forward to full spreads showcasing raw food twists on items you never knew could taste so good vegan will let alone raw. Furthermore, decadent cheesecakes and cakes will be served daily as well.

Payment
A deposit of 50% is due upon making your reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the start of the retreat. If your booking is made within the 30 days before the start of the retreat, the total balance is due within 3 days after making your reservation.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your place along with a completed traveler questionnaire. Upon receipt of your completed questionnaire and deposit, you will be sent a booking confirmation via email.
All places are subject to availability at time of you making your deposit payment. If payment is made for a specific retreat date and during the time of your funds clearing, the retreat fully books, a full refund will be offered or an alternative retreat date.
A minimum of 24 hours advanced booking is required. Bookings requested within 24 hours may be subject to additional fees.

Cancellations
Once we have received your booking, any cancellation will result in the loss of the deposit amount paid. There are no refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days of arrival.
