A visit to London should be on everyone’s bucket list as Britain’s capital is packed full of interesting things to do. From cultural and historical sites, to world-class shopping, restaurants, and more. Enjoy walking around some of London’s most iconic landmarks and discover the city’s many parks and green spaces, some with spectacular views of the London skyline.

After you’ve finished feeding your senses, be sure to feed yourself at any number of London eateries. Whether you’re craving traditional fish and chips, or you’d rather sample something from one of the many other cuisines represented, you’re sure to stay satisfied on a trip to this vibrant city.

Join Alt Esc on a small group tour of this iconic city. We will work together to build out this flexible itinerary based upon your specific interests!

The deposit is refundable for two weeks after registration to allow you to get vacation time approved, find animal sitters, look into flights, convince your friends to join us, etc. After two weeks, $100 registration fee is nonrefundable.

Most flights will arrive in the morning. Although our hotel rooms may not be available until 3:00, they will hold our bags while we go explore!

Once we gather everyone's arrival times we will be able to better plan out this day. Ideally, some fish & chips in a pub and an evening ride on the London Eye would be a delightful kick off to our English adventure!

Those options can be added post registration once we get an idea of our schedule: London Eye tickets approx $60-$70 depending upon which package we choose.

Royal London Walking Tour
We will do a fully-guided Royal London Walking tour, including the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and Downing Street, home of Prime Ministers since 1734. Within the walk, we will incorporate a part of the Changing of the Horse Guards and the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at Buckingham Palace (depending on schedule).

After lunch in Covent Garden (think My Fair Lady and Eliza Doolittle), we will travel past St Paul's Cathedral, where Charles and Diana were married, to end with a tour of the infamous royal fortress The The Tower of London.

Day Trip from London: Endless Possibilities
Not knowing who will register for this adventure and their depth of experience in London and the surrounding areas, we have left some flexibility in the schedule. Once we have the group registered, we can discuss what we would like to do on this last full day of our English adventure. Some may want to stay in London, others will need a break from the city.

We can all go somewhere as a group, or break out into smaller groups. There are so many things to see in close proximity to London. We can start discussing this as soon as registrations begin.

We had a great time. Nice room on ship, dining room service and food were good, shows were good. Excursions were interesting but too expensive (in comparison to other cruise lines and what was given).

Alt esc did not disappoint! Finland is so pretty, and the people are very friendly. All activities including dog sledding and snowmobiling, visiting the ice hotel, reindeer farm and of course meeting the real Santa were done well and so much fun. Alt escape does all the work, so I didn’t worry about one thing, just showed up and was super relaxed the entire trip. I have traveled with Alt escape many times and will travel with them many more!

We had a fantastic time in Finland and Estonia! Finland had so many great things to do! Sleeping in the glass igloos was a highlight. Snowmobiling, and dog sledding was so much fun. And the countryside was sooooo beautiful! And we got to meet the real Santa! Which was actually more fun than I anticipated. Alt escape puts together a fantastic itinerary and for s great price.

I just got back from Alt-Esc Antartica trip aboard the UM Ushuaia. I loved it. Also loved the pre trip to Buenos Aires and Ushuaia. I’d like to stay in Ushuaia longer next time. WHAT a landscape!! Holy cow. The trip was well organized, I got exactly what I paid for. I’ve travelled A LOT and there are other groups that are disorganized, end up with out enough rooms, have too many people, are are a bit of a mess. Alt-Esc is organized and you get exactly what you pay for. I love it!! I’ve now done 3 trips and I’ve signed up for two more!! Thank you Alt-Esc. I work too much and your trips really recharge me!!
