About this trip

I'm running this trip through my charity, Mudita Adventures, which means we are also giving back to the community during the adventure.

We're straight heading to the magic of Madagascar on this one. Think lemurs leaping through technicolor rainforests, sapphire shores that have tales of pirates journeys from long ago, and chameleons that switch outfits faster than an influencer. Madagascar is a living, breathing wonderland. This trip is about raw adventure, unexpected encounters, and stories you'll tell around campfires for years to come. Oh ya, and we haven't mentioned the baobab trees,  dancing lemurs, and cave tombs yet. So many highlights so buckle up for this one!

What's the deal with the charity aspect

My trips are either kinda dangerous trips you don't tell your mum about, or they're mad adventures in cool countries where some of the money goes to a charity project, and we visit the project as part of the itinerary.

This time we'll be refurbishing a school in western Madagascar, in the town of of Benjamina. We will meet with the local headmistress, visit the community and learn about how your attending the trip has afforded them the chance to refurbish their school. We will all be donating much needed school supplies during the visit and lending a hand in any work they need to finalise the project that we’ve funded through you all.

How to get to Madagascar

The capital is Antananarivo. It's pretty easy. Emirates, Air France, Ethiopian and other major airlines fly. You can fly direct from Paris, or often it's via Addis Ababa or Johannesburg in South Africa. Or... via the Seychelles. A great chance for a secondary trip perhaps?!

Loved it!! 5 packed days, great group of traveller's, one of the most intriguing travel experiences, Johnny was brilliant as usual. Anyone reading this and undecided about doing this one... don't think, just do it. You won't regret it.

Everything about Mauritania was perfect; the group, the experience, the country and its people. Nothing that I expected but everything that I wanted. Thank you Johnny and team.

I absolutely loved this tour of Mauritania. The people in our group were phenomenal, the locals are probably the most kind and welcoming people I’ve ever met. And the train was epic of course :) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I admittedly don't usually love tours, but Johnny nailed every part of this trip once again and he has a brilliant skill in making everyone feel included while having one of the wildest adventures in a friendly and fun country.
