About this trip
Join Zoë and Jessica at Monte Velho in Portugal, from July 27 - August 3, 2024 for a magical week of Mysore practice, Sanskrit, chanting, and philosophy and, of course, plenty of time in nature and on the beach! Yoga and Sanskrit students of all levels are welcome. Each morning we will begin with Mysore-style practice for all levels, from beginner to advanced. In the afternoons, we will have daily Sanskrit/Yoga philosophy sessions, whether you’re brand new or have studied for years. Through chanting and discussion, we will join these two disciplines together, focusing on how practice can help us to plant seeds and build healthy roots for whatever we want to grow in our lives. Delicious vegetarian meals will be served daily, with snacks, coffee, and tea in between. You will stay in beautiful accommodations, single or shared, as you choose. Whether you’re a yogi or a Sanskritist, or both, this retreat is for you. Please join us for this wonderful adventure!!
