Iceland Adventure Tour 2024

Wonderful and exciting trip.  The venues were great and the hiking, kayaking and horseback riding were marvelous.  The hot springs were also great, but the hike down to them and back up twas a bit of a shock.  It was unusual to meet such a great group of travelers who intermingled really well.  I love all of them.



Oh my gosh! This adventure sounded so great when I read about it back in October of last year, but actually doing all the things made it the best adventure ever. Joe and Kris, our guides, were always there to answer questions. Imagine 14 strangers spending seven VERY full days together. I found a whole new family of friends. Enjoyed every moment of this trip and have memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend this Iceland adventure.

This was such a fun trip!  Nick & Kristin went out of their way to make it special.  They were organized & had things planned so well.  But - they were also flexible to adjust for what we wanted to do.
We took a seaplane to hike in an otherwise inaccessible area, hiked, white water rafted, kayaked among icebergs, hiked on a glacier, & other things.  The accommodations they picked were outstanding.  It was really just a lot of fun.  Definitely a once in a lifetime adventure.  I'd go again in a minute!

Run Wild in Alaska 2024 - June 23

Fit4Adventure did not disappoint with this great week long trip in Alaska.  The itinerary was well planned and we got to see and do so much.   The stop in Talkeetna en route to Denali National Park was a great start to the journey kicking off with a scenic float plan trip to a remote fishing lodge.   While the Denali Park is worthy of a week long visit, we packed in some great hikes along with whitewater rafting during our 2 days there. The highlight of the trip was saved for last - hiking on Exit Glacier in the Kenai Fjords National Park as well as kayaking around the icebergs at Bear Glacier Lagoon.  Once in a lifetime experiences, for sure!

Our guides Nick and Kristen did a great job planning and leading us around the beautiful Alaska wilderness. 

I can't wait for my next trip with Fit4Adventure!

Utah's Zion and Bryce Canyon - June 2024

Outstanding! Our guides (Joe & Tara) created delicious food, hiked along side us all day, then created tasty dinners and cleaned it all up too!  Everyone in the house clicked. We were like old friends laughing together all week. The Angel’s Landing was a difficult hike with payoff views. Joe & Tara were along side and encouraging the whole time. The Narrows water hike was really fun too. I’m so glad to have seen the beautiful red rock formations in Bryce Canyon. Breath taking.  A very memorable week.   Looking really forward to the next adventure. 

Another great trip on the books! This trip had everything I wanted - a well-rounded yoga experience, knowledgeable guides (Kristin and Marie are amazing!), and wonderful guests. The agenda was planned just enough to keep me busy and relaxed, the accommodations were beautiful, and the food was outstanding. I really couldn’t have asked for anything more in a yoga retreat. 

Costa Rica Yoga 2024

Yoga and meeting new friends, sharing laughs and souls. Definitely recommend 

while my wife an I expected an enjoyable ride on the Katy Trail, what we did not expect is the incredible "above and beyond" support we received.  Joe and Brian surprised us at every turn. 
1. Meals far exceeded our expectations. VERY nice restaurants.
2. Accomodations were excellent. We would never have found such jems on our own.
3. Snacks. At every rest stop Joe always provided what we needed. When he leaned each rider's preference, he would make special trips between rest stops to bring us our favorite snacks.
4. Companionship. Everyone bonded exceptionally well. At the end of each day we would all gather together and hang out wherever we were staying and just talk and laugh.
5. Knowledge and bike hacks. I've been a competitive cyclist for more than 40 years. I learned a lot of simple, useful hacks from Joe (ie, taping an extra chain link to one of the bike's cables to ensure based on 11/12 speed the link would be compatible).
6. Several city tours. We would all jump in the van and Joe would take us around town explaining history and sites.

I've likely left out a lot, but for the sake of keeping it short, 100% of my expectations (which are quite high) were far exceeded.  Thanks guys for a memorable week.

Katy Trail Spring Tour 2024

I wanted to explore more of Mallorca so I chose this trip. It was really good. I saw part of the island that many don't see if they are driving. The hike leaders were attune to the capabilities of the group and did not push any one beyond what they could handle. The food was great and a lot of it. Great trip. 

Mallorca Hiking 2024 - May

This hike was so incredible. The hiking leaders were attentive to the needs of the group and kept us moving at a great pace to not leave any one behind.  The accommodations were incredible considering we were hiking the alps; the food was great also. 
I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to do this hike with a group. 




Tour du Mont Blanc 2023 - Trip 1

This trip was so much fun. There challenging rides and easy rides available depending what you were able to do. 
The ride leaders were awesome and paid attention to each person in the group. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun and physical adventure in Mallorca. 

Mallorca Cycling 2024

Wow! What an amazing trip. So glad to have booked this cycling adventure with Kris and her team. The riding, guides, accommodation and food exceeded my expectations.

This was my eighth trip with Fit4Adventure to Mallorca.
Never a bad moment. It's the best week of my year.

I had the most memorable vacation ever. The rider leaders were wonderful. The rides and routes were amazing. The accommodation is first class. Amazing is an understatement for this trip. Kris was extremely wonderful with making the everything super easy with airport transfers and all the logistics with this trip. 

I loved my recent trip to Mallorca . The ride leaders were knowledgeable and took good care of us as well as making sure we had fun. 
Loved the resort and the people working there. 
Came with a fun group and met some nice people.

This was an amazing trip and an incredible value.  We were picked up and dropped off by Kris, the hotel was great and the food was very good.  And, oh yes, the cycling, routes and guides were first-rate.  There were even several great side events (wine tasting, hike, tapas reception and closing dinner come to mind) that were also very well done.  Kris was amazing throughout and went above and beyond - she offered to pick things up for us, gave us a lift into town, made great suggestions for supplies, and was even able to juggle rides to accommodate special requests at the last minute.  All the benefits of a big tour and all the perks of a small, customized one!  Very highly recommended, I will be travelling again with Kris and Fit4Adventure.

I had a great couple of weeks with really friendly people.  The riding was outstanding and tailored to suit a variety of ability levels.  The accommodation was fabulous and the food was excellent.

The organization of the trip was spectacular. Everything worked like clockwork. The guides we had were intricately knowledgeable of the island, professional, amiable, and strong riders. I felt very safe having them around. The accommodations and food were superb. The organizer made sure everyone's needs were addressed. In summary, this trip exceeded all my expectations and Fit4Adventure is my go to adventure company.

Never been on a vacation where the company has gone above and beyond trying to accommodate every guests needs and wants.  Kris and fit 4 adventure are top notch in wanting to make sure everyone has a great time.  The cycling leaders continue to be top notch.  I will leave a fourth year just as happy as the first.

This trip was incredible. The hikes were challenging because of the rocky trails and steep inclines. The spectacular views made it worth the effort. Recommend trecking poles and good high top lightweight hiking shoes. The Villa was a beautiful home base and our guides, Diane and Nick, did a great job of keeping us well fed and comfortable. We traveled in vans to the trail heads each day. The roads are winding and narrow but they handled it beautifully. Their knowledge of the area served us well. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who has an interest in hiking Mallorca! Consider tagging on a side trip before or after to maximize time in the area.

I had been searching for a way to win the lottery to hike to Phantom Ranch, and Fit4 Adventure provided the means.  We organized our couple's trip, and Joe and the team took care of the rest.
We needed to cover a few nuances regarding travel and various inbound travelers, but Joe was cool, calm, and collected with anything we could throw at him.  
We even got to eat in the private El Tovar dining room before heading down to Phantom.  This was a special treat as was the entire experience.
The food and lodging at Phantom were great, and no one complained about the extra hot shower or clean bed linens.
We enjoyed the trip so much that we booked the same tour/trip again for March 2024!

Amazing new friends on this trip. The ski chalet was beautiful, the food outstanding and the skiing…well it was awesome. Great memories…our tour guide Joe was the best.  He always had meals ready and was ready tot take us wherever we wanted.  Christy

Ski Breckenridge 2024

The Guatemala Coffee Expedition was a great trip that really brought fitness, food, culture, and coffee to the forefront of the trip.  The accommodations were unique and allowed us to really enjoy the different settings of our trip.  Our guides Marie and Michael selected excellent places for us to eat and visit along the way.  Hiking Acatenango was a fun challenge, and the view from camp made it well worth the effort. I would recommend this trip to others and look forward to another Fit 4 Adventure trip in the future.  

Guatemalan Coffee Expedition 2024

This was a memorable trip in every way. The planning was impeccable. The people were so much fun and we all got along very well. The hotels were beautiful and very comfortable. Marie and Michael’s planning, the excursions and activities were what made this trip a trip of a life time for me. Thank you Fit 4 Adventure!

We had a wonderful time. It was a very educational and immersive trip/experience. The guides,(Marie Hoag and Michael Iwasko) were so attentive and constantly making sure that the trip was going well for everyone. They were very intentional with planning the tours, the food and restaurants, the local guides, etc. that enabled us to experience the best of the local Guatemalans. The beauty and the richness of the land and the people constantly wowed us. Guatemala was never on my "bucket list", but this was one of the best trips that I have ever taken. We had such a great group of fellow travelers as well!

It was an amazing trip and educational trip ! I have now been on 8 fit4adventure trips and each one has been completely unique - reflecting the character of the guides that get to choose their own interests.  Marie was amazing as her love and knowledge of Guatemala was apparent in each place she took us and how much we learned about the plight of the Mayans who are so discriminated against in the country that was theirs for thousands of years.  The people were so beautiful and we watched these women weave magnificent textiles and paint otherworldly paintings.  We specifically went to women-owned business as they are so downtrodden and discriminated against.

The hike (both up and down) was brutal but the views of the volcano at night and the sunrise in the morning - all above the clouds at 12000 feet - were like nothing I have ever experienced - and apparently there is no other place on earth quite like what we saw.  And - we got the 6.1 earthquake experience - at no extra charge!

The trip was even better than advertised.   The scenery and the experiences exceeded my expectations.  The itinerary was perfect and I felt like I got to see the best of both parks.  I wouldn't change a thing!  The house we stayed in was a great way to make new friends, unwind after hiking and still enjoy the Zion surroundings.   Lastly, the meals provided were well planned with lots of options and so delicious!  We were spoiled on this trip, for sure.  Joe & Tara were a great team both on the trails and in the kitchen.

Utah's Zion and Bryce Canyon - October 2023

What a wonderful group of people signed up for this trip.    The hikes and experiences planned really showed off the beautiful island of Mallorca and its people.  Trip to Son Piug winery and time in Pollenca with Perry were very special experiences.   And the Villa!   The happy hours and meals outside were so conducive to getting to know our fellow hikers.     The hikes were challenging to me because I did not do enough of the conditioning to get ready for going uphill.    I will know how to prepare for next time!   Marie and Diane were superb guides, cooks and drivers!!  Could there be a Mallorca hiking part 2?   So many places to see there like Cuevas del Drach, Illa de Cabrera and others I read about.   Loved the trip, the people and the guides!!

Croatia Cycling Cruise 2023 - Bella

Great trip. Right on the edge of my comfort zone BUT I did it! Great guides. Great guests. Amazing scenery. Would recommend highly to very fit folks! 

What an incredible experience! Scenic bike rides, cozy yacht, incredible food, upbeat guides and in incredibly fun group of active travelers! I was able to explore the beautiful country of Croatia without a care in the world. Fit 4 Adventure truly took care of everything making this the perfect week. I would go on the trip 100 more times!

Hands down one of the best trips I have taken.  The boat was amazing and Croatia is a must destination.  Fit 4 adventure nails it each and every time.  Already signed up for my 5th adventure!

Beautiful country, friendly people. Crew and staff were great. Would prefer to have option to eat dinner off the boat every evening to explore local cuisine. 
This boat was not up to expectations with hot tub and pool not functioning and bath towels stiff and uncomfortable. 
Having said all this I would NOT hesitate booking another Fit 4 Adventure trip. Their staff was exceptional and I believe our trip was the madden voyage so some hiccups were expected. 

Croatia Cycling Cruise 2023 - President

Fit4Adventure is the best way to see the world. They plan adventurous vacations that combine exercise with a thorough introduction to the area you are visiting and they are very attentive to each individual's needs. The accommodations were lovely and obviously well-researched. I've traveled with them twice to two different countries. Both experiences provided "trips of a lifetime". They tell you what to pack, and when to arrive, and then they take care of everything else. I've made lifetime friends on both trips because the friendliness of the staff ripples into the group and you feel like a family at the end. 

We had a fabulous time biking around Croatia.  Fit4Adventure did a great job skirting us around all the rain and wind so that we could continue to bike each day.  The scenery was very picturesque and the biking was challenging.  Highly recommend Fit4Advenutre.  Thank you Kris Corbett for a great trip.

Iceland was a dream! Every detail meticulously planned. Packed so much into a day-just like I hoped. Beautiful scenery, active adventures, great people. Thank you for a wonderfully active vacation!

Iceland Adventure Tour 2023

This was our first time with Fit 4 Adventure and we are looking forward to joining them again. We spent 7 fantastic days exploring Iceland which included hiking, kayaking among icebergs, geo-thermal hot baths, seeing beautiful waterfalls, geysers and recent lava flow from volcano,  horseback riding on black beaches and best of all was a secret hot river hike/dip. Hotels were modern, clean, comfortable and our rooms had good views (such as mountains...). Food was good and fresh. We loved the tomato farm tour that had lunch served with delicious tomato soup and bread onsite greenhouses. Our guide, Joe Dann, was super nice and attentive.  We  had a great time. We highly recommend this tour to everyone.




We had a wonderful time. We kept busy from the moment our travel group gathered. Fit4Adventure had some unique adventures planned for us; ones we may not have sought out on our own. The guides were so kind, helpful, interesting and fun. We had great food,  met new friends, and created wonderful memories! I would recommend this trip for anyone ready to hit the ground running and have a active, adventurous week!

Run Wild in Alaska 2023 - Week 1

Joe and Brian were amazing guides. Brian kept us out of trouble on the trail while Joe made sure we were fed and comfortable.  Our fellow travelers were a delight. The sights, food, music festival and beauty of the trail made this a never to forget adventure. Very doable for most fitness levels. 

Missouri Katy Trail - Spring

This was our 4th trip with F4A and as usual we had a casual, relaxing and fun adventure. The Katy trail is beautiful with picturesque farms, bluffs and small towns. The hotel accommodations were unique and comfortable. The restaurants were local and we explored regional favorites like fried pickles!  The crew was helpful and resourceful.  We are looking forward to trip #5 in the future. 

This was our 3rd Fit4Adventure trip and we enjoyed every single one of them.  The Mallorca hiking trip had been on our radar for a few years and so glad we decided to go. The trip was everything we expected and more. Moderately challenging hikes, beautiful scenery and weather (sunny and pleasantly warm), superb guides (Joe and Diane), comfortable accomodations in a centuries old updated villa, great food and wine, and fun, adventurous travel companions. Thanks for a great experience! We look forward to taking more Fit4Adventure trips!


Mallorca Hiking 2023

5 stars........this trip exceeded my expectations; it was more than a yoga/hiking trip - for me it was retreat with wonderful and strong women held at a ranch that was magical. Under the great guidance of Kristin and Emily I came away with a better appreciation of the practice of yoga, meditation and self-care. High marks for Kristin and Emily - they did a fantastic job. Highly recommended.

I had a great time. Both Kristin and Emily were awesome. 

As always Kristin and Emily were the best. It was relaxing, fun and insightful. They are both wonderful people and make everyone feel welcome   

This was my (I think) 8th year to cycle Mallorca with Fit4Adventure and Legro's Cycling camp. As usual, the weather and the island cycling experience was perfect. Of all my world travels this is one of the best values in terms of overall cost. The cycle training from Legro's team is first rate the the support services from Fit4Adventure made sure everything came off without a hitch.
