We had a wonderfull experience, very good people at the lodge, very good food, the tourguides were very polite, in general my familie and I had so much fun and we rested from the world, Cuyabeno is a magnificent place in Ecuador, and Andrea is the best!

She took the time to check that everything met (and exceeded) our expectations, answered last-minute questions, and made sure we felt supported from day one. Sebastian, our lead tour guide, was truly exceptional. His depth of knowledge, passion for the region, and enthusiasm was infectious. He brought the history of Quito alive, made our visit to the Equator and the equator a learning experience, Sebastian ensured we were immersed in the culture and history of the city, while preparing us for our time in the Galapagos. Every element felt designed to ensure we had not just a trip, but a memory-making journey. We felt right at home at Hotel Finlandia! Breakfast was delicious every day, the room was clean and nice and comfortable. Staff was super helpful. We had 2 separate stays -- one for 3 nights, one for 2 nights (before and after a trip to the Galapagos). We ate dinner one night and it was very good. We used the laundry service & it was perfect. Everything went extremely well and we felt very comfortable and happy there. One small commment: one room had netflix on the TV; the other did not. (and we couldn't figure out how to mirror our phones) After long days, a little netflix is great to unwind :)

We had a great time on this trip! The guide (Christopher) was so informative and amazing and everyone on the staff was great -- friendly, helpful, kind. The activities were so interesting and so fun. We learned a tremendous amount, and had a very fun time. The other guests were amazing and all in all? IT was an incredibly memorable adventure. Highly recommend!
