Among numerous permitted trekking peaks, Mera peak is the highest peak climbing in Nepal with the elevation of 6,476m/ 21,247ft. Erected in the east of Mt. Everest in Khumbu region, Mera peak contains three summits: Mera Peak North (6,476m/ 21,247ft), Mera Peak Central and Mera Peak South (6,065m/ 19,898ft). Out of these three summits, Mera Peak North has glaciers in the route and South side is technically demanding; therefore, we prefer Mera Peak Central (6,461m/ 21,190ft) for our expedition. It is one of the scenically elegant peaks of Mahalangur range which offers the stupendous view of sparkling peaks including 5 out of 6 world’s highest peak in Nepal: Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu, Makalu and Kanchenjunga.
