As a long time (30 year) yogi and natural extrovert, always on the move, it has been my lived experience with Lyme disease that would change my world dramatically. Throughout my long and (full) recovery, I have become a passionate student and certified teacher of nervous system regulation, including restorative and trauma informed yoga, yin, nidra, reiki, breathwork, brain retraining, and qigong.

I have explored countless external modalities in my quest for healing including: diets of all kinds, plant medicine, cold therapy, red light, enemas, acupuncture, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, kundalini, ozone, saunas and supplements galore. Many of which played a pivotal role in guiding my return to wholeness and health.

MATUTE (Musician, sound healer, temazcalero, ecologist and father)

Born and raised in Nicaragua, drummer since he is 7 years old, Grammy nominee, he has played in many bands around the world. Co-founder of Reserva Los Nogales, his drive is forest and water conservation, permaculture, eco-construction and soil regeneration, music and sound healing. He shares traditional Nepalese sound healing through his Tibetan singing bowls around and on your body during individual therapy or group sound bath. He is also a multi-instrumentalist: drums, percussions, guitar, acordeon, charango, keyboard. In his medicine path he is a vision quester and guides temazcales.

MARGAUX ARMONÍA (Community leader, yoga teacher, singer, temazcalera, designer and mother)

Born in Brussels, Margaux has lived in Nicaragua for 11 years. Co-founder of Reserva Los Nogales, seeking the sustainable development of an ecological, social and cultural community in the middle of a tropical forest where she organizes yoga, sound healing and ancestral medicine retreats. She teaches and sings with her partner in Belgium and Nicaragua with their band “Soundhealingyoga”, guides Temazcales and is a vision quester, runs a little water school and directs a women workshop making upcycled fashion: MANO. Her passions are creating communities, educating her two boys, producing art and singing.
