Una experiencia bastante recomendada para conocer el Volcán Cotopaxi

We had the time of our lives at Waita Lodge. Every day was a new adventure. Saw so many great animals and even got up close to a toucan. Our guide, Charlie was incredible! He was so passionate about not only the wildlife, but also the preservation efforts of the Amazon. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. The food and the rest of the staff were also fantastic! So glad we chose Waita

La visita fue genial, los recorridos estaban muy bien planificados para poder conocer un poco de cada lugar. Nuestro guía David es muy atento y siempre nos explicaba varios detalles sobre los lugares que visitamos para poder aprender un poco más de las costumbres y cultura de Ecuador.

Excelentes guías, atención y bellos lugares que pude conocer con ustedes… Otavalo, Cotopaxi, Quilotoa y Mindo. Tengo que regresar por mas… 😀👍🏻

We had a wonderful time at the Waita Lodge. Our guide was thoughtful and knowledgeable, and we enjoyed the mix of activities available to us. The food was very good as well, and they provided plenty of snacks, which is helpful when traveling with children. Our main issue was the transportation issue; we were given the option of having a private van versus a shuttle bus. We chose the shuttle bus, but were not informed of the constraints of this option. We were asked repeatedly during the weekend how we were going to handle the departure to the shuttle, which was not something I understood to be our responsibility. We were told that it would cost another $40 to reach the shuttle, which had to be paid in cash, and resulted in us having less money available for tips. Ultimately, the company paid for the price of the shuttle, but it significantly affected our travel on the last day. We were also not given a lunch on the last day, which meant that we did not eat between breakfast and dinner; there was no time to eat between getting off the canoe, into a mixto, and then the shuttle bus.
