Join Hausa Tours on this tour to discover the diverse wildlife in the Mole National Park, Ghana’s largest game reserve. Embark on an hour long flight from Accra to Tamale plus a 2 and a half hour drive to Mole National Park. Go on a safari and take your time to watch the elephants, baboons, monkeys, monitor lizards, bush- bucks, antelopes and several wild animals in their natural habitat. You will also take a brief city tour of Tamale, capital of the Northern Region.
Depart early to the Accra airport for a domestic flight to Tamale. Arrive and you will be transferred by road from Tamale to the Mole National Park, Ghana’s most important park with its rolling landscape with pristine guinea savannah vegetation. The Mole National Park is for game viewing and is home to about 90 (ninety) different species of animals including elephants, antelopes, waterbucks and warthogs among others. Join the guide for a late afternoon trek to view West Africa’s big game: the elephant. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to view animals with the Park Guide. Overnight at Mole.
