This was one of the best trips that we’ve been on!  Damian and the rest of his team were fantastic and bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed our time. We were nervous about a guided tour but shouldn’t have been.  The experience was so personal and it didn’t feel like a tour at all. Not to mention the wine and food!  We got to see wineries we never would have found on our own. Damian knows his wine. If you’re on the fence just book. You won’t be disappointed!

Working with Damian was a wonderful experience. He readily customized our tours to fit our needs (two generations traveling with a toddler).  We enjoyed tours of small and large wineries, an organic winery, a sparkling winery, even an olive oil and balsamic vinegar mill.  Chris, our driver, was friendly and knowledgeable and provided valuable insights to help us understand the wine regions of Maipu and Lujan de Cuyo. Oh, and did I mention the delicious wine we tasted? We really enjoyed our trip with Borravino Wine Tours. We traveled with their team for three days and thoroughly enjoyed all three days. Agusta was an excellent driver and tour guide through Mendoza, especially since my wife and I were first-timers to the region. Each day, we did three wine tastings: two in the morning and one for lunch. We truly loved their regional expertise and would 100% work with them again when we return to Mendoza.

Exceptional company—they planned a 3 day private wine tour for my friend and I that was absolute perfection. Strong communication, excellent staff, and amazing wineries. Strongly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting wineries in Mendoza!!

Our three-day tour with Borravino Wine Tours was the highlight of our Mendoza vacation.  We came to Mendoza to visit wineries, to drink good wine and eat good food.  And that is what we did.  Damian and Marcelo at Borravino made it all possible.  I began working Damian months in advance to organize three days that would explore the three regions of Mendoza.  Damian eventually put together a perfect three days of winery visits.  The wineries were mostly small to medium sized which allowed for more personalized tours and introduced us to winemakers and wines we would never have known about.  If you want to go to the big commercial wineries, Borravino is probably not for you.  These tours were with excellent local producers, almost all of whom do not have distribution in our home country.  We hit three wineries each day and always ended with a good lunch at a winery pairing their wines with the food.  Marcelo was our driver and guide and he was so great.  He has perfect English, is very personable and fun and is a fount of knowledge about the area and the wineries.  Damian and his team went above and beyond, also helping us out with currency conversion and airport transfer.  If you are interested in exploring the wine region of Mendoza – this is the way to do it.  Thank you, Borravino.

We had a great time. Our driver was on time and very friendly and knowledgeable. The wineries we went to were very nice and different from one another.
Salentein is a state of the art winery, very elegant. Their prestación and wine tastings were very good. Then we hit a smaller winery Finca Adelma and the owner was there and came to greet us which was awesome and the third was Finca Don Carlos. The lunch was a 5 course one. Very good. 

We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tours in Mendoza and in Uruguay - each with terrific driver/guides named Agustin!  The wineries selected were all excellent and the lunches were terrific.  Superb introduction to these two wine regions - we highly recommend Borravino and their team!

Damian organised a perfect tour with Andres as my guide. It was a perfect day. Great wine, great food and Andres is a legend.

An excellent tour for a fun, relaxing and wine-filled day in the Uco Valley!  We visited two very different wineries, then had an outdoor lunch with wines and lives music at a third. We enjoyed each place, and the pacing of the tour was perfect.  I think everyone would really enjoy this tour. 

We had a wonderful three day wine tour in Mendoza experiencing the beauty of all three wine regions! We were very well taken care of and went to a wonderful mix of wineries varying in size and capacity as well as wine styles. Borravino staff were very communicative and helpful and we would return to Mendoza to tour with them again!

Borravino Wine Tours

It was very easy communicating with Damien Pinon of Borrivino Wine Tours. He was very responsive and flexible in planning all the details of our 3 day visit to the Mendoza wine region. 
 Unfortunately he was traveling but he ensured that his partner Cris would take care of us. 

The following morning Cris picked us up and drove us to Maipo and Luján de cuyo wineries. 
The highlights of our day being the delicious lunch at Tempus Alba winery paired with wines, followed by Bodega Finca Agostino which was a gorgeous property and wine tasting with their sommelier was a truly special experience. Amazing  property and tasting! 

Day 2 
Lujan de Cuyo wine tour

Lorca Winery, (ex Foster Lorca) Visit and wine tasting - fabulous property with views of snow clad acongahua mountain. Personal and delightful wine tasting with cheese and nibbles. 
Next we visited Piattelli Vineyards - another gorgeous property with a lagoon- we enjoyed the tour and tasting - especially their wines from Salta! 

Day 3 

Uco Valley wine tour with sommelier Migüelito 
Our drive to Uco Valley was beautiful with rolling vineyards. This was the Mendoza we had expected. We wished we had stayed at Uco Valley ..
We visited gorgeous Andeluna Cellars,
 - excellent winery and tasting. Excellent wines - we wished we could have carried more back. Shipping was steep!
Next we visited El Vistaflorino winery - excellent and passionate wine maker and small producer. Damian was brilliant and the wines were a tribute to his talent and hard work. 
Onto Cundo winery  where we had a delicious gourmet lunch paired with excellent wine. The ambiance was modern and classy with excellent personalized service of food pairing and wine

Amazing day!  Our guide Andres was so great, felt like we were hanging out with a friend.  Loved all the information about the area and wineries. The wines were delicious, wish they shipped to Canada!!  All in all a great day.  

The tour and overall experience was fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about it. Colonia is stunning and because of the tour, we cannot wait to plan our next trip back. Andrés was an exceptional tour guide, knowledgeable, fun, fantastic. He also went above and beyond helping us navigate an emergency we had upon departing the ferry.

UY- Colonia - Barrio Historico and city tour

Damian at Borravino did a great job putting together an itinerary based on our desire to visit all three wine regions of Mendoza in three days. He was easy to communicate with and listened to my request for specific wineries. Through his suggestions we discovered two extraordinary wineries, Mendel and Familia Zaina. All the paired lunches were fantastic but Santa Julia stood out. The only thing that could have made the three days better would be to have the same driver/guide and vehicle the entire time so a rapport could be developed. We also did not enjoy being driven in a big van for the two of us on one of the days, so be sure to request a sedan if you feel the same. Overall a great way to experience the wineries of Mendoza.

We had an awesome time very private. Our driver was very professional and attentive. 

Damian was very responsive and ensured that our wishes were met. He was very flexible, despite the last minute changes that we had to make. Damian took us to wineries that were different from each other, and provided excellent wine tasting services. He also provided interesting information about wines, Mendoza and Argentina. It is clear that Damian loves his city. He also provided English translation for one of the vineyard. If I returned with a group, I would certainly use his services again.

Damian had organized a wonderful tour for us and went out of his way to accommodate our wishes. We started at Norton with a private tour of the vineyard and cellars….beautiful vistas of the snowcapped Andes and a tasting in a private cellar all inclusive. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable, and the tour was really a memorable experience. 
Next we stopped at Terrazas de los Andes, another amazing winery, where we had a really interesting group tour and a winetasting of 4 varieties. 
Last not least we enjoyed an outstanding 7-course lunch menu at Clos de  Chacras, accompanied by matching wines and followed by a tour of the winery…truly an amazing experience. And all without worrying how to get back to the hotel because we had a very nice and knowledgeable driver who took us around all day. 
We are so happy that we found Damian and Borrovino and can wholeheartedly recommend them! 

Excellent day driving through Montevideo and out to the countryside with Augustin to visit a winery. Fantastic lunch and wine tasting at a small winery that showed us their grape growing and wine making process. Tasted about 6 different wines, one straight from the barrel. 

We had such an amazing time on this tour.  We had a favorite winery each day, and we both came home with quite a few bottles of wine.  We learned a lot about the various processes of making wine, and of course enjoyed the tastings.  Each day we had an amazing lunch paired with wine, which made it that much easier to want to buy more bottles of wine! I highly recommend this tour, it was so easy, nothing to worry about besides enjoying the wine! 

Our day of wine tasting was unforgettable!
Planning our day with Damien was so easy over WhatsApp. He's very responsive and made great suggestions. We booked rather late, so one of the wineries wasn't available for a tasting but that ended up being the best thing to happen. He had us go to this fantastic little place for lunch that was prepared right in the outdoors. Finca Minimal ended up being the highlight of the entire day. Really creative and experimental menu with very unique wine pairing.
We also went to Quimera and Mendel wineries.
These three places were all super different from each other which made for a very well rounded experience.
Also, our driver, Manuel, is hands down one of the best guides we've ever had. He's super professional and also was very easy to talk to.

We had a wonderful wine tour in Carmelo, Uruguay.  Fabian was a fantastic guide and the wines and food were wonderful.  Only disappointment was that we requested a wine tour in English but were not provided that at Narbona winery - they only gave the tour in Spanish, so we missed a  lot.

My wife and I had a wonderful time visiting Colonia. Our guide was waiting for us when we got off the ferry from Buenos Aires. From there he explained to us the history of Uruguay and Colonia while driving us to the vineyard. The vineyard itself was beautiful, and we had plenty of time to explore and ask questions. The 3 wines we tasted were all very good and different, and the lunch served after was delicious.

Since we booked a later return ferry, the guide was kind enough to give us instructions on how to explore the old city in Colonia and then drop us back off at the ferry terminal for our return.

Overall a great day trip from Buenos Aires and a great way to experience Uruguay if you're tight on time.

Our tour to Colonia del Sacramento Wineries was fantastic! Damian was super attentive and answered all my questions before booking the tour. They are punctual, and took us to the two wineries that I had chosen. The first one was Los Cerros de San Juan that is big and was recently renewed and has a great restaurant. The other was El Legado, a family winery, smaller and cosy and we were received by the owners. Both of them were great, with tasting + snacks, two different experiences, what made it more complete. Fabian, our driver/ guide was super super nice! Thank you!!

Had a great time on this wine tour. Our guide Carla was very knowledgeable, spoke English and was answering all the questions I had. I learned a lot. Food was delicious and kept refilling us with tastings from selection of varieties. We came in January and the weather was nice, sunny with a nice breeze. We probably stayed like 2 hours at the restaurant just cause it was chill. Our driver Augustine was awesome too, spoke English, friendly and no hassle  pick up/drop off. Thanks for the experience!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Before the tour, Damian answered all our questions quickly via email, and the logistics were as easy as could be (pick up at the ferry port upon arrival, drop off at hotel). 

Our guide, Fabian, was super friendly and taught us all about Uruguay, Colonia, and the winemaking history of the region. The boutique winery we visited was a beautiful family-owned location with spectacular food and wine. We got to meet the family and enjoy a delicious asado (along with refills after we had finished the initial tasting).

It was a lovely day and a very well-organized tour. Highly recommend for some peaceful time in Colonia!

This was an absolutely fantastic tour and a can't miss itinerary stop for anyone visiting Uruguay or Buenos Aires.  Our guide, Andres, was incredibly personable and very knowledgeable not just about wines but also about the countryside we traveled through and Uruguay in general.  We thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the beautiful country of Uruguay from a local on our drive from the port to the wineries!  The two wineries we visited were nestled among beautiful countryside and we enjoyed picturesque views while wine tasting and munching on local meats and cheeses.  The wines themselves were fantastic and it was so neat to tour the vineyards and learn about the wine making operation from the winemaker himself.  This tour really does have something everyone will love, even those who might not be wine drinkers!    

This was one of the best parts of our trip to Buenos Aires, and it didn't even occur in BA!  First, I had some questions so I emailed Damian via the we travel page, and he got right back to me with the information I needed to make a decision. We emailed back and forth and I knew someone would be waiting for us when we arrived on the ferry from BA to Colonia.  Andres met us in Colonia and the day blasted off.  Andres was fun, funny, knowledgeable, and chill.  He took us to the old bullfighting ring where we got some neat pictures, taught us the real name of the country we call Uruguay, told us about the country's history a little, and about the canola fields that were in full bloom.  At the Fripp winery, our guide spoke some English but wanted Andres to translate for her, which he did gladly. We got a great explanation of what the winery used to do and how it is modernizing and upping its wine qualities. We've done a few winery tours in the states and this was still a learning experience for us.  Then Andres hung out while we did our wine tasting and snacking. The second winery we went to was gorgeous. Some of our group even commented on the beautiful views from the bathrooms!  Best of all, our tour was supposed to end at 230 but Andres was sooo laid back that we did not get back to Colonia until 5pm-ish.  Andres even stopped on the side of the road for us to get some photos in the canola fields.  Seriously, they were too pretty.  I highly recommend working with Damian and Andres to taste some wonder Uruguayan wines and see the Uruguayan country-side.  

Each of our experiences planned by Damian were perfect - great wine, great views, friendly people! We had a wonderful time in Mendoza and Uruguay and cannot recommend this experience enough! :)
