TWO DAYS IN THE ANDES ON HORSEBACK

Tough but rewarding hike! I was lucky to experience this a snow trip due to weather conditions in weeks before my trip - otherwise usually more of a standard hike. 

Great views of Potrerillos lake from the top of the too of Aranales mountain. Peak is about 3,500m and the elevation change is substantial.

I would recommend staying in Mendoza for several days beforehand and exercising a bit to get used to higher elevation (town has elevation of ~1,000m). 

Bring paracetamol in case of headaches caused by altitude sickness.

ACONCAGUA CONFLUENCIA DAY TREK

The trip was according to the description of the agency, the attention of the monitor was focused on my personal experience, which is priceless. I hope to come back and program new routes with the team!

These hikes were the highlight of my trip. I did two, and both guides were excellent. 10/10 experience you will not regret.

UCO VALLEY DAY TREK

We had a great time. The Asado was fantastic and it felt like a real and authentic experience. Our guide Fernando was awesome, he was friendly, knowledgeable, open and a wonderful company.
The nature is beautiful and to experience it on horseback is as much an adventure as a unique experience.
The money was well spent and made Mendoza an unforgettable trip.

HORSEBACK RIDNG DAY TOUR

The trekking to the South Face of the Aconcagua was full of emotion and marvel. It a beautiful park and the hike to Plaza Francia is fantastic. We were lucky with the weather, Agustin our guide had a lot of stories to tell and gave the right time to admire the majestic mountain. Beautiful trip, absolutely recommended!

These two days have been a nice and necessary introduction to the Andes and helped me adapting to the altitude. Luli was a wonderful guide, full of enthusiasm and information about flora, fauna and geology. Thanks a lot!

MOUNT ILUSO TWO DAYS TREK

I climbed my first 4000er and it was a great experience. Thanks to Paula, my guide who was perfect and well organised. The climb is demanding but we found the perfect rythm and shared the emotion to be so high over the clouds and beautiful views.

PENITENTES 3 DAYS MOUNTAINEERING

Our group had an amazing time. Our guide, Rodolfo and his group (Christian, Roque, and Gabriel) were so helpful and sweet. I especially loved watching them take everything off the horses after each day’s ride and letting them roam freely in the mountains. There is something so refreshing about watching the horses run so freely in the wild. The experience was so special and I will carry this memory forever. Thank you so much for all your hard work! 

ANDES CROSSING ON HORSEBACK

The trip overall was amazing - incredible horses, landscapes and people. A few elements that felt quite unorganised at times and some miscommunication on a few occasions regarding the daily itinerary and timings, but of course this was an intrepid trip over challenging terrain so some flexibility and patience is required. Was a must-do trip though and some fantastic memories made!

We had a great time, the trip was neatly planned. The meals were fine, the lunchboxes were extraordinarily prepared. Alejandro did a good job as a guide. I would surely recommed the trip to a friend! As a sidenote: The communication before the trip with Federico was awesome, as he answered all our questions immediately and in a very detailed and polite manner. Thank you!

Positives:  great horses and equipment, Guides were very friendly and attentive. Great route.  Guides returned our rental gear successfully.  Timotheé made it a point to explain cultural data and aspects of the mountains and gauch life.

Recommend Improvements:
-improve daily guide communication on the trip:  communicate a set time each day to relay information such as departure times, meal times, destinations, recommended gear. 
-transmit a map of the route ahead of the trip so travelers can study/see where they will go.  When changes occur, call quick group meeting to pass key information. 
-improve vehicle transportation coordination.  We were stranded in Chile for 3-4 hours without knowing our destination for the final night nor how we were going to get there. 

Overall, fantastic trip and I would do it again. 

What a special day! The whole Andes Vertical team (Pablo and team) together with gaucho Daniel made the experience amazing! You feel like you are able to stop time and just enjoy nature.  This is the only way to see the Andes mountains. 

We had a great time! Camila was a great guide, with a lot of knowledge to share, great care and availability! The rafting experience was also great, very organized (they provide all the materials) and, most importantly, super fun! Would definitely recommend!

This trip was an amazing opportunity to get up high in the Cordon del Plata (3400m) , see incredible views and enjoy being in the mountains. Matias was an excellent guide - warm and friendly and informative. Thank you!

Pablo made this trip exceptional by giving us an amazing experience up Mount Arenelles. Pablo and I were in kahoots from the start because I was planning on proposing to my girlfriend at the top of the mountain. He took all of our photos with his really nice camera and got some great action shots of the proposal and the hike. He did an amazing job making sure we took breaks on our way up to the mountain so we didn't get altitude sickness, and informed us about natural facts of the area. He had some yerba matee ready for us after the engagement and there was a llama at the top watching me do the proposal. Couldn't have asked for a better experience/guide in the Andes for the engagement. Mil gracias Pablo!

It was a really nice day of climbing with Agustin. We climbed a lot of routes and he also showed me a bit how multi pitch climbing works. Thank you very much for this experience!

We had a great hike! The most amazing views. And Pablo was the best guide we could wish for. we learned a lot about the Andes. Would definitely recommend it! We usually do self guided hikes and this was our first guided hike. We were a bit hesitant beforehand, but this hike definitely convinced us. Thanks Pablo!

Excellent trip! Our guide, Cristina, was kind, knowledgeable, spoke good Spanish and English, taught us about the region, and accommodated our requests. Pickup was on-time, the gaucho, Danielle, cooked delicious food, was ready for our arrival, and rode alongside us on the way back. Overall, we would highly-recommend this service. The only suggestion would be to ride further up the mountain when the guests are experienced riders. Very fun!


Nuestro guia Pablo ha sido muy servicial, puntual y brindando continuamente ayuda. Ha sido la mejor experiancia con guias desde que nos iniciamos en el senderismo.

No me parecio correcto que la compania haya insinuado postponer la actividad durante el dia anterior por falta de guias. Eso ha sido la peor experiencia desde que hacemos senderisno...

El trekking fue muy bueno, el grupo era pequeño lo que ayudó la experiencia a ser más particular. Agustín, nuestro guia fue muy amable, nos ayudó en todo. Excelente!
El unico punto que podría mejorar es el box lunch, que vale 15USD pero no viene dos fruta y un pan.

We had an awesome time sport climbing with Fernando. He was quickly able to access our abilities and find just the right routes for us to climb. He also helped us work on our lead climbing and route cleaning skills. After climbing indoors in a gym for a while, I am now super excited get outdoors and do more! Thanks.

Balance Due Plaza Francia + Permit fee

Very easy to book, Federico was quick and efficient at handling enquiries.  Guillermo was an excellent driver and a good guide up and down, picking out a safe route each time, reassuring us when a potential thunder storm appeared to be brewing.  Really good English too.  

We had a wonderful day of climbing with Fernando. We learnt so much and are exicted to climb again. Fernando is an excellent guide. Highly recommend.

We has a great trek with Mattias as our guide. We did three progressive mountain summits (Andresito, Arenales and Loma Blanca ). 
Mattias was knowledgeable and relaxed and we managed to spot a group of wild Vicuñas and a few Condors. 
Highly recommend if you love a solid hike

We had a good time on Liama Blanco despite no view! The mountains are incredible and I would have stay a few more days!
Taking a guide is the best and easy way to explore when you don’t have so much time. Mathias, our guide, was a really nice person. I recommand him!

2 days of first class multi pitch climbing in Los Arenales, Mendoza. It‘s a place not many people know but for sure many more should know and will! Nanika and Andes Vertikal did a great job, bringing memories to me that will last.

If you have some time left in Mendoza give it a try. Book for 2 days, it is worth the experience.

We enjoyed an excellent trek with Pablo, our guide.  He was knowledgeable, took great care of us and found ways for us to gain an Aconcagua experience, even with the basecamp closed - we went as far as we could and then went to Quebrada de Matienzo. The office team were also been very helpful, communicating clearly and giving us good options.  Recommended!!

We had a really good time. The trip was well organised, the guides were friendly and helpful; the scenery, the asado and the horses were great. We were a group of varying ages (9 to 40s) with not much riding experience for some and everyone felt safe. 

HORSEBACK RIDING DAY TRIP

This was a beautiful hike. The scenery is incredible and well worth the trip. Our guide Cristina was very knowledgeable and experienced and was able to help when I had a bit of altitude sickness.
