We just completed an unforgettable trip with Yuri, Gato, and Claudia, and it was truly the BEST experience! From start to finish, Yuri and the team made me feel completely safe while still delivering an exhilarating adventure through Peru's stunning trails. The routes were challenging yet perfectly matched to our skill level, and anytime we needed help with the trail or our bikes, they were always right there, ready to assist. Their expertise with the bikes and trails was impressive, but what made this trip truly special was Yuri's deep knowledge and passion for Peruvian culture. He didn’t just guide us through the terrain—he taught us about the rich history and traditions of the region, which made the trip so much more meaningful. In fact, learning about the culture became as memorable as the riding itself. And considering this was a BIKE trip, that's saying something! Yuri and Claudia also took incredible photos throughout the trip, which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the ride without worrying about capturing every moment. I actually went on the same trip last year (which was amazing in its own right), but this time felt like a completely new adventure. What truly set this trip apart, was how they transformed two groups of strangers into one close-knit family. It was such a blast riding with our new friends that we’re already planning future bike trips together! It’s rare to find such genuine connections on a trip like this—it was truly a magical experience, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to Peru.

This was truly the trip of a lifetime! Julie @ World Ride was a great facilitator throughout booking and preparations and the team at Horizon Mashatu were top notch tour guides. The riding was fun, and just enough miles to make you feel like you did *something* that day to offset all of the wonderful food we were fed. Mosa and Elliot picked great routes for riding which were well aligned with the skill level of the group, and made sure we got to see all of the animals we dreamed of. I plan to return someday. If you do book through World Ride, which I recommend because of the good work they are doing, ask Julie if there is an option to stay an additional day. We were a mixed group (World Ride and Horizon) and were very disappointed to find out that the Horizon bookies got to stay an extra day. You might have to pay extra, but its worth it. When you get there you'll never want to leave!

The Botswana mtb safari is hands down the best trip I have ever taken! I felt completely safe with our guides, the food was incredible and the riding was so much fun. It was the perfect combo of riding, animals, and adventure. I would do this trip again in a heartbeat.
