We must risk delight. We must have the stubbornness to accept our gladness in the ruthless furnace of this world." -Jack Gilbert
Join Lila Heller and special guest teacher Katie Ybarra in beautiful Northern California for A Movement As Medicine Retreat. As summer begins, we will be bringing in joy, play and nurturing. This 3 nights and 4 day retreat will feature daily morning and afternoon Love of Movement Method classes and Breathwork sessions. The movement classes are a unique blend of Pilates, yoga, applied neurology, primal movement and Breathwork. Lila has coined her method, The Love of Movement Method.
You will have plenty of time to relax, hike, rest, and mediate. We will be fed by ALexandra Sargant of Wildhart Catering, who specilizes in Ayuvedic cooking.
We will savor every moment by soaking in the hot tub, swimming in the pond, hiking the trails around the hills and through the redwoods! We have tons of accommodations options and the whole center to ourselves.
WhisperTree Retreat Center is located just outside the town of Boonville. Nestled in a protected watershed, Bell Valley offers a refuge from the bustle of daily life and stress. There are six miles of trails that weave throughout the beauty and solitude of rolling oak hills and open meadows. The unique accommodations are thoughtfully integrated into the landscape some of which are located in the historic Toll House.
