There are several routes by which to reach Kibo, or Uhuru Peak, the highest summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, namely: Marangu, Rongai, Lemosho, Shira, Umbwe, and Machame.
The most popular once we will present are LEMOSHO, MARANGU, MACHAME & RONGAI. There are six approved routes for a Kilimanjaro climb with Uhuru Trails By Wilber Safari Holidays & partners each offering different advantages and drawbacks. Regardless of which route you choose, you need not be a rock climber, superlatively fit, supremely well-equipped nor mentally indefatigable to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest and world’s highest freestanding mountain. '
The concentration for this trip is LEMOSHO Route. The quote cost reduces as per the number of people but the cost for this one is fo 2-4 pax
Lemosho is a very beautiful, isolated, 70 kilometer trail traversing from the west at Londorossi Gate, all the way south to Barranco and then east to Barafu via Karanga Valley, starting through dense tropical forest still rich in life and later crossing the scenic heathland of the Shira Plateau. Porters go ahead to your first campsite at Mti Mkubwa - Big Tree to erect tents and prepare food for the evening.
Trekking poles and gaiters may be needed as these lower woodlands reaches can be muddy along with head torches for the evening. Entering from the west by an extended access route used by the minority of walkers, enjoy the early days of a secluded Tanzanian highlands tour before joining with the popular Machame trail and the ultra-strenuous Umbwe trail on day five of your trek towards Barranco Camp where sapiens congestion can upset the Mount Kilimanjaro wilderness ambience at peak times.
