The largest protected biosphere reserve in the Mexican Caribbean!
Sian Kaan means “where the sky is born” in Mayan and was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987! It includes beaches, dunes, cenotes, coral reefs, and a tropical jungle, where more than 300 species of birds and more than 1000 plants and 100 animals live.
Inside, among the jungle, we will discover the archaeological site of Muyil a city of great importance in the coastal trade networks of the Yucatan Peninsula in pre-Hispanic times, and we will float along the ancient canals used by the Mayans on their trade routes. This is one of the best experiences near Tulum! Don't forget your speedo!
