Experience the turn of the Celtic Wheel in Native Ireland’s ancient East this August with Cathy French and Julien Elizabeth.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage to discover an Ireland that can only be experienced by one who knows the land. Join us as we explore places of extraordinary sacred significance and stunning landscapes at season’s change, including ancient ritual sites with local guides and stewards of the land.
Celebrating the gifts of harvest season, we will journey together between seasons, from the darkness of Newgrange Passage Tomb, to the rich glacial valley of Glendalough to the soft golden sand of Wexford beaches.
A native to this land, Cathy is our guide, introducing us to some of her most treasured friends and local leaders, musicians, artists and shamans - all connected deeply to Ireland’s Celtic imagination.
Each day begins and closes at our home for the week, Monalea Barn. This stunning rural retreat is nestled in a quiet valley within the Wicklow mountain range, only one hour from Dublin. Quiet roads and miles of forest lay a track for hiking, wandering and tuning into the native land that holds so much history.
Daily yoga, yoga nidra and meditation will be led by Cathy and Julien, who guide you in creative ways to a deeper state of embodiment and receptivity as we explore this multi-dimensional lineage together.
Nourishment is provided by Dorene, who prepares food that is loving, delicious, healing and plant-based. Fresh, organic ingredients are sourced locally to provide us a holistic experience that is connected to the land and all that is abundant in it.
We hope you’ll join us in making this week memorable, transformative and healing - an opportunity to explore the history of a land with roots that run in all directions.
