Repeat customer, which should tell you everything you need to know! I first worked with Shree and his team in 2021, when my son and I traveled to Nepal to do the EBC trek. I chose Base Camp Adventures because Shree was detail oriented, quick to respond to my questions and very organized. Had a great experience and contacted him again several months ago to book another EBC trek with my wife. Just completed our EBC Trek in October of 2025. Once again, Shree and his team did not disappoint. He made us feel like we were his only clients, although October is peak season. He has truly become like a brother and I trust him implicitly, and cannot recommend him enough. He has a great team of guides and porters which he employs, which makes all of the difference. Our guide, Nabaraj, was outstanding. Having strong English, he was able to share not only the necessary details of the trek, but also the Nepali culture, history, and other areas that made it more meaningful. N quickly became our guide, our motivator, our comedian, our historian, our weather guide and clothing expert, and yet allowed us to "hike our hike!" Lastly, it is important to note that using Shree and Nabaraj allowed us to navigate some travel issues, as our flight from Kathmandu to Lukla was delayed. At a very minimal expense, they were able to get us on a helicopter which allowed us to get to Lukla and start on trek on time. We never could have accomplished that on our own. Additionally, after our trek, Shree even assisted with arranging our tickets to Pokhara for us. Outstanding customer service, which can make or break a trip to Nepal. We will definitely use them a third time when we return in a couple years!

This was a trip of a lifetime. Basecamp adventures was a good outfit to travel with. They had good communications during the planning process. A couple of things that I would recommend is that during the actual trip on the EBC trail, that Basecamp Adventures should have provided one main guide and one assistance guide. What we got for a group of 8 clients was one main guide. The problem with this was that some members of the group that were slower in their speed were left behind and at one point took the wrong turn and essentially got lost. Having a second official assistant guide allows for safety and reassurances for all members of the team. The cost is not that much more considering the cost of labor is not high and the price of the trip for 8 people was a large amount. Another recommendation is that the guide and porters need to have an ability to communicate while on the mountain. The cell phone service was inactive most of the time due to signal trouble and having a reliable walkie-talkie system in place allows for efficient and effective communications and is more humane for the porters who had to back track 'miles' in order to relay information to the guide. These suggestions are not expensive and adds a lot of value and safety to the entire trek. I would hope that these recommendations are taken into consideration for future clients for this company.

We had an amazing trek to Everest Base Camp with our guide Nabrash and sherpas Bhim and Ram. Even during the monsoon we enjoyed beautiful views, little rain, and quiet trails. The teahouses were great, and our guide was attentive to everything – from the weather to the trail conditions and the yaks. Thanks to Shree from Everest Base Camp Adventure for the excellent organization and the lovely Hotel Lo Mustang in Kathmandu. We can wholeheartedly recommend this company and team – they made it an unforgettable adventure!

Every day came with the discovery of a more stunning view of the majestic Himalayas . We learned thru the trails also about the Sherpa Culture, Budism and Nepalese traditions .
