We had a great time, NY is always a great place to visit. We would have liked to have a personal tour guide take us to the popular places, as the two days we visited were at night, and it wasn't easy to navigate the large crowds. We were left on the first night for 5 hours to figure out how to navigate down town NY, not fun in the cold weather it would have been better for the guide to take a group to specific locations like the tree, time square, central park, Trump towers...

We had a wonderful trip, great people and accommodations.  Only suggestion would be to have more available restaurants near our hotels.  I understand that there was a last minute guide change from Debbie to Pam and that could have been the issue.  But we did have options available when we boarded the coach to  drive to eating locations.  It was beautiful.  Pam did a great job, especially being added to the tour without appropriate time to plan, which was understandably no ones fault.   

Fall in New England 2025

We did have a wonderful time. Some sites closed but...we got too see a lot more. Wonderful driver and host. Could not ask for two better people.

Washington, D.C. 2025

Had a great time on the New England Trip.  Our bus driver (Tim) and tour guide (Pam) were wonderful. Seen some beautiful sites, ate some great food and all the other people on the bus were very nice. Looking forward to another trip next year.

We got to experience so much on this trip! I would have never made it to most of these places on my own   The convenience of being dropped off right where you want to be to see the things you want to see was priceless. The tour guides were wonderful. We felt so safe in the very capable hands of the motor coach driver. The tour director on our bus made it all come together with her expertise and hard work. It was well worth the money. Enjoyed it so much.  

We really enjoyed the trip, especially the opportunity to go to Niagara Falls! The hop on guides were great. Could skip the stop to see the big Indian statue in Skowhegan. Would suggest that people use earbuds on the bus while using their cell phones. The accommodations at the beach were our least favorite. Pam is a wonderful guide and Tim did a good job of driving the bus. The trips Martin Tours offer are a great value and we’ve enjoyed every one we’ve gone on. Thank you very much the opportunity you give us to travel and see this great country! 

We had a wonderful time. So happy we went with Martin Tours. This was our 4th tour with Martin's and we have been pleased every time.  We can't wait to see what trips will be offered in 2026! 

This was an absolutely wonderful trip!  We met wonderful travelmates, seen the most beautiful scenes that our beautiful country offers.  Pam and Tim made this a true bucket list fulfilled trip. This was a wonderful trip, my first trip west of the Mississippi and my hubby hasn't been back to this side of the Mississippi since he was a child..  Pam Cox and Lemar were great.  The itinerary was jammed packed with things to do and see.  I was very pleased with our overnight stays.  This was also a great group of people.  I Love the Memories that we have made on this trip with Martin Tours.  We can't wait for the next trip.

My sisters and I had a wonderful time on this trip. Absolutely no stress and lots of fun with the tour guide and bus driver. We appreciated the fun and games on board, the organization of the trip and the ease of getting on and off the bus. The hotels were satisfactory and when there was a problem with the rooms, it was rectified quickly. Will definitely consider Martin Tours for future trips. 

New York City 2025

The trip was fun.  Ease of checking in at the hotels by the guide along with central bus drop offs made the trip enjoyable. The added touch was have a local Manhattan native Luke show us around and provide local knowledge.

This was a great trip! The bus was clean and comfortable. Itinerary was generally great. Debbie was very knowledgeable and helpful. Bus driver, Tim, very professional. The step on tour guide, Luke, from Real New York Tours made the trip even more memorable with his intimate knowledge of and affection for The City. The personal experiences he shared were sometimes humorous, sometimes emotional, always enjoyable.
Suggestions: I would like to have known at booking what the tours at Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island included. I had hoped to go inside the statue and take a more complete tour of Ellis Island, so I was a bit disappointed. Just a little more information about that up front would have been helpful. I also thought we would be going inside St. Patrick's Cathedral for a tour. Again, maybe a little more clarity on the itinerary would help.
The additional "bonus" stop at the site of the Hamilton, Burr duel was amazing. My favorite photo of the trip was of the skyline across the river.  Central Park and Aladdin were also favorites!
I would not recommend the Central Line train car diner in New Jersey for future tours. It was quaint and interesting but the food (at lease for the four at our table) was flavorless. I voted for it because I like eating local whenever possible but was disappointed in the food. 
I thought the tour price was fair and I'm really happy I was able to go. I will definitely be checking your tour schedule for more trips in the future. And I'm telling all my friends they need to come with me.
Another suggestion: offer links from your website with basic information about each location. Such as how the streets and avenues are numbered for easier navigation. Maybe a simple map showing some of the attractions and their proximity to each other. Maybe approximate walking times between attractions. (I know that varies with everyone, but a general idea would help.)

We had a good time, despite the rain. The bus was there when we were ready to move on. Tim and Debbie were excellent guides, and Luke was informative and funny. My sisters and I had an enjoyable time together, without having to decide all the places to stay, eat and extra costs. I would definitely do it again. 

This was by far my favorite vacation ever! Everything was perfect.

Pulaski Southern Elementary

We had an amazing time.  We saw thing we never would have seen and did things we never would have gotten to do.  The trip was very enjoyable and accommodations were excellent.  The trip was well planned out and very efficient. 

Pat, our tour guide, was outstanding.  She made the trip very personable with the games, readings, and homemade treats.  We felt very comfortable and were able to interact and get to know other people on the trip.  She is a very special, caring lady.  Lamar was an excellent bus driver.  He was always there to assist us on and off the bus, always with a kind word and smile.  We enjoyed visiting Opryland, Gatlinburg, & the Biltmore.  Hotels were nice and comfortable.  Only suggestion would be a little more time at the Biltmore, at least an hour or two.  We look forward to more trips with Martin Tours!   Linda & Ed

Opryland, Gatlinburg & Biltmore Christmas

We had a great trip.  Got to do a lot and celebrate the Christmas Holiday in a most delightful way.  The food was great at the Biltmore, Dolly's Stampede and at Gaylord Hotel.  Had fun going thru ICE at Opryland.   Pam was wonderful, she kept us on time and  she was well prepared with the games, food and devotions.   Lemar was an excellent driver.  He was courteous and friendly to his guest, but his driving skills are top notch.  I hope to go again.
 

Group travel is different from you traveling by yourself.  We have contracts with hotels and other vendors and deadlines for canceling tickets and rooms.  Usually about 15-30 days before the trip.  This is why we suggest getting travel insurance.  Thanks for the 5-star rating though!  

Cancelled the trip for impending hurricane.  Expecting a whopping $32 refund from the $900 I paid for the trip.  Martin claims they were unable to cancel in time.  I canceled on Thursday the tour started on Monday.
I won’t use Martin again.

Savannah, Georgia & Jekyll Island 2024

It was our first travel coach tour, we really enjoyed it. So many very nice folks were in attendance. Debbie was a fantastic tour guide, keeping the group informed, organized and very close to schedule. The dining choices for our group meals were very good. The Christ Church Cemetery tour was informative, but not something that was very interesting to me. We would have loved to be able to walk down the entrance to the Wormsloe Plantation, however it was closed on the day we visited. All of the other excursions/tours were very interesting and well presented. LOVED touring Savannah, will absolutely put on my list for a vacation there in the future.

 This trip was awesome! We met wonderful people. The tour guide(Debbie) went above and beyond with providing an itinerary that was jammed packed with information and every place that we could possibly see. The driver (Mike) his knowledge with the area kept us inline with where we needed to be.  The accommodations were great and the food was great also. We would do this trip again just for more knowledge of the area.

Washington, D.C. 2024

Well planned, lots activities, educational and fun. 

Debbie, our tour guide was excellent. 

My only problem, being close to 6ft tall, the seats were too short and the room between the seats was not nearly enough. 

Thankfully, the bus was not full and we were able to spread out.  If the bus had been full, I would have been miserable. 

This was a wonderful trip. It was filled with historic places, beautiful spots, good people, and delicious food. The tour guide for Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard was very knowledgeable; the guide for the Boston area was also knowledgeable and had a wonderful sense of humor. Would recommend this tour to everyone. Thank you Martin Tours for the wonderful memories.

Great trip with lots to see.  I would have enjoyed it more if the trip had been a couple of days longer so that there was more time to see and explore the sites you had planned for us to visit.  It would have been worth any additional expense.  For example, a full day in Boston.  Going some days from 7 in the morning until 8 or so in the evening did not allow any time for relaxation.  One day required skipping lunch entirely so that we could get through what had been scheduled.  Days like that are hard on those of us in our 80's.  Debbie as tour guide and Barbie as drive did an amazing job.  Those ladies are to be complimented.

New York City 2024

The NYC trip was really nice. Our driver Tim was great and Debbie was the best! Can’t wait for our next adventure!

We had a great mother-daughter trip!  What a great way to travel!  Delicious meals and met new friends.  My mother is 86 years old and what memories we made!  We didn’t have to plan or decide where to go or what to do next.  It was the no hassle way to travel!  From the Broadway show to the 911 Memorial and all in between, it was top notched!  Tim, our driver, and Debbie, our guide was the best!  Highly recommend to anyone of any age.

We apologize for the hotel.  We have used that property in the past and it was always good.  Glad you enjoyed the trip!

Debbie was a great tour director, and Mike was the best bus driver I've encountered. The sites were wonderful. 
The motels were good EXCEPT for the one in Mackinaw City. That hotel room was dirty and had numerous other issues. The breakfast room was on the 2nd floor up steep stairs. The only other access was walking to the end of a long wing, taking an elevator, and then walking half way back down the wing. Since I walk with a cane, I didn't eat breakfast when there.
   Also, the Lexington bus point was a Walmart in Hamburg shopping area. When we got back at 2:30 am Saturday morning, a homeless situation had set up 50' from my car. I had forgotten my car keys in my suitcase when I packed 20 hours earlier in Michigan, so had to put my suitcase on the parking lot within plain view of the homeless. Thankfully, a fellow traveler saw my situation and stood next to me while I dug around my prescription medication to find my keys, as the bus had already left.
It was scary!
  I do want to travel again with Martin Tours, and would like to go to Charleston, SC.

Mackinac Island, Michigan 2024

Glad you liked the trip.  We appreciate you letting us know about your thoughts and will definitely make the changes for the next trip.

I had a good time! The tour guide, bus driver, and travelers were fantastic. Mackinaw Island is beautiful and the meal was superb. Amish tour and Frankenmuth were good.
Some things could have been done differently to improve the experience.
The bus seats were uncomfortable with little leg room in some areas.
The room accommodations were mediocre. The one in Mackinac City at the Clarion was very unclean, safety lock had loose screws, and no room cleaning was done the second day. I do not recommend using the one for future trips.
Too many meals at Cracker Barrel. 
The trip home was 20 hrs. Would have been nice for an overnight stay possibly with a tour on the way home then spend night before going rest of the way home. Didn't get to Lexington until 2am with an hour drive home from there.

Glad you enjoyed the trip.  We will not use the hotels again for this trip.  We have used them in the past and they were fine.    

The trip was AMAZING!  The bus ride was doable. Mike(The Driver) and Debbie (The Coordinator) were awesome and truly made this trip enjoyable considering that the Motel accommodations were HORRIBLE.  Two out of the three places we stayed had no elevators. Dragging luggage up a flight or more of stairs was a little hard to believe that anyone would consider for older adults. Cleanliness was a big issue at two of the three places.  I think the itinerary should be submitted to travelers before full payment is due so they have the option to cancel in case things do not fit their current health conditions. 

We had a great trip! Our bus driver, Mike, was the best! Our guide, Debbie, was so sweet and was able to add more events to our itinerary just so we got to see as much as possible! Great experience!

We had a great time! Mike, our bus driver was absolutely wonderful. We felt safe the whole trip. Debbie, our tour guide, was knowledgeable, selected the perfect locations, and made sure we were on time for everything!
