Time to Return Home, to Africa!
Ibadan is the capital and most populous city of Oyo State, in Nigeria. It is the third-largest city by population in Nigeria after Lagos and Kano.
Ibadan has a very rich cultural heritage and interesting history. It is the site of the first television station in Africa, the home of Nigeria's first university, the University of Ibadan, and Nigeria's first skyscraper, Cocoa House, which opened in 1965.
The highlight of your trip will be a visit to the Badgary Slave Museum which highlights the injustice and horror of the transatlantic slave trade, whilst also exhibiting Africa's rich histories and cultures. In addition, the Omilere Alaragbo Egbe Festival is an honor tradition in Ibadan. It is believed that Egbe is our spirit companion. Each one of us enjoys the company of these companions in the heavens before we come to earth.
Come, sing, dance, eat, and explore Ibadan, Nigeria and it has to offer!
