Our journey today will take us through TENNESSEE, KENTUCKY, and into FLORENCE, KY where we will call our home for the next three nights.  We will arrive in time for you to freshen up and venture out to your choice of several restaurants within walking distance of our hotel. Join others from our tour as you discuss with excitement what the rest of our tour has in store.

Today, we travel over to PETERSBURG, KY as we explore THE CREATION MUSEUM. The state-of-the-art Creation Museum allows you to venture through biblical history, stunning exhibits, botanical gardens, planetarium, petting zoo, and much more. This afternoon, we will enjoy an audio tour of the AMERICAN SIGN MUSEUM.  Dedicated to the art and history of commercial signs and sign making, the American Sign Museum is proud to be the largest public museum dedicated to signs in the United States! Covering more than 100 years of American sign history in 20,000 square feet of indoor space, the museum is a walk through the ages of technology and design. Another highlight this afternoon will be the KROHN CONSERVATORY.  The land in the park used to belong to Nicholas Longworth and he called it his Garden of Eden.  First opened in 1933, the conservatory has many features in a style called Art Deco that was very popular in 1933. Tonight, we enjoy dinner at one of the nice restaurants in the area.

Today, we travel to WILLIAMSTOWN, KY to experience THE ARK ENCOUNTER featuring a full-size Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, this modern engineering marvel amazes visitors young and old. From the moment you turn the corner and the towering Ark comes into view, to the friendly animals in the zoo, to the jaw-dropping exhibits inside the Ark, you will experience the pages of the Bible like never before. Although there is an elevator to aide you in experiencing of this massive structure, there is a good amount of walking involved. This is a FULL DAY; so, make sure to have on your walking shoes. This afternoon, we head south to our hotel in GEORGETOWN, KY to get a head-start on tomorrow’s adventures.  Today, we make our way further south through the center of KENTUCKY, across the corner of TENNESSEE, and into NORTH CAROLINA. As we arrive in ASHEVILLE, our first stop will be BILLY GRAHAM’s “THE COVE”. Nestled on 1,200 acres in the BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS and built on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s longstanding commitment to spiritual formation, THE COVE has for over 20 years offered life-changing Bible teaching by respected Christian speakers and soul-stirring praise led by gifted worship leaders. Take time to tour the BILLY GRAHAM MUSEUM, the CHATLOS CHAPEL, as well as the PRAYER GARDEN.  On our way to our hotel for the evening, we will enjoy dinner at the RED ROCKER INN, an updated 1896 Bed & Breakfast, Restaurant, and Bakery in the heart of the charming town of Black Mountain, NC.

Today, we spend our morning at the BILTMORE ESTATE. Stroll through America’s largest home on a marked route, assisted by an AUDIO GUIDE. During this 40-minute experience, capture the feeling of being guided through Biltmore’s grand rooms by our curators and hosts. You’ll learn about the Vanderbilts, their guests, and their servants, in addition to the surrounding architecture, design, and artwork. Midday, we will satisfy our appetite on the Biltmore Estate Grounds at the STABLE CAFÉ’, originally the estate’s horse stable and later turned into a bright and airy restaurant where converted stalls hold cozy booths. This afternoon, we will pick up our local tour guide downtown for a GUIDED TOUR of ASHEVILLE, NC. Dinner tonight will be at a local Ashville favorite, the STONE RIDGE TAVERN.

Today is a travel day as we make our way southwest out of NORTH CAROLINA, through GEORGIA and ALABAMA, and into MISSISSIPPI. As with previous days, we will have plenty of leg stretches along the way.  With our scheduled leg stretches and lunch, we will arrive in MERIDIAN, MS in time to for you to freshen up and enjoy a KICKBACK Dinner at the Drury Inn.

Well, it’s time for the final leg of our journey, but WOW … what an adventure! We will now travel back through LOUISIANA into TEXAS! Today, is an excellent time to share addresses and phone numbers with newly made friends and also plan your next adventure with AMERICAN TOURS!
