On this trip we'll cruise along the southern coast between Kristiansand and Stavanger. And of course..we'll take the time to relax & build bonfires as well!

The Bus

Aside from the most unique form of transportation, the bus is also your accommodation on wheels! It will be your home away from home for the next 8 days. Fully equipped with a big lounge, kitchen, 9 comfy beds, heating, bathroom,  and of course.. a fire pit!

Of course part of the fun is to be driving around in our ancient bus, transformed from an old public transportation bus into a comfortable hostel on the move. We’ll be on a roadtrip together to discover the beautiful Norway. Sitting upstairs you'll almost have a 360-degrees view!

You’ll have your own bed, with curtains to provide some privacy and your own little reading light. Upstairs you’ll also find the lounge with a view, while downstairs is the living area, with kitchen, bathroom and dining area.

Both areas have what we call in Dutch ‘ARKO’ (Alle Ramen Kunnen Open’) and a heating system for the colder nights.

How to get there

There are several ways to get to Kristiansand / Stavanger.

Ferry

Since last year there's a direct ferry leaving from Eemshaven (Netherlands) to Kristiansand: ideal for the Dutchies amongst us! For more information on their schedule and bookings, check out their website.

It''s also possible to take the ferry from Hirtshals (Denmark). Check out the schedule and times here.

Starting from Stavanger? From Kristiansand it's just a 3 hour train ride to get there. We can help you book it if you add it as an add-on.

Train

Would you like to feel on a holiday as soon as you leave your doorstep? Then consider the train! There's a good connection between Oslo, Kristiansand and Stavanger. For tickets and the schedule, check the website of the Norwegian Railway.

Planning your train ride to Norway

If you're coming from abroad, then this website might be useful when planning your trip.

It was a very fun weekend trip to the north of the NL. Despite the rain on the first day, the vibes were great. Good and vegetarian food, yoga lessons, surf and floating in the water, endless walks on the beach, music, great girls, and a comfy bed in the fabulous Karavana bus. All very nice, I barely had time to rest, haha. There was always something going on!

Great vibes, happy people and delicious food. Wonderful way to meet like minded other woman. Erg fijn!

We were taken good care of. We've seen a lot of Scotland's nature and loved all the activities. My personal favorite was conyoning. That was awesome, even in the cold. Highly recommend anyone try a trip on this amazing bus!

Voorafgaand is hier wél over gecommuniceerd.

I traveled with this bus about a year ago. One of the worst experiences of my life. One of the hosts used a racial slur while at dinner. Completely changed my outlook on traveling with a female hosted trip. And the booking agent, girls love travel, would not refund my money.
