Day 1: Boti Falls – Nature and Wonder

Morning Departure from Aburi
Start your journey with a scenic drive from Aburi to Boti Falls, one of Ghana’s hidden gems in the Eastern Region. This stunning twin waterfall, known locally as the "male and female falls," is set against lush greenery and is steeped in local legend. Known for its mystical allure, Boti Falls is both a natural wonder and a place of cultural reverence.

Hike to Umbrella Rock
After enjoying the refreshing spray of the falls, hike to Umbrella Rock, a unique natural formation offering sweeping views of the surrounding forest. The trail is an adventure of its own, leading you through captivating flora and fauna, culminating at a viewpoint perfect for photographs and reflection.

Day 2: Cape Coast – Echoes of History and Heritage

Morning Visit to Assin Manso Slave River Site
On the journey to Cape Coast, stop at the Assin Manso Slave River, a poignant historical site where enslaved Africans had their "last bath" before being taken to the coastal dungeons for shipment. This sacred site is marked by the riverbanks where men, women, and children prepared for a journey they were forced to endure. The visit offers a moment to reflect and pay respects, as you hear stories of resilience and resistance woven into Ghana’s powerful history.

Cape Coast Dungeon
Continue to Cape Coast Dungeon, a significant landmark in the transatlantic slave trade. Step inside the stone chambers where enslaved Africans were held, and immerse yourself in the narrative of struggle and survival told by expert guides. The dungeon serves as a solemn reminder of the past and an homage to the strength of those who passed through its walls.

Elmina Dungeon and Walking Tour
Next, visit Elmina Dungeon, Ghana’s oldest European-built structure, dating back to the 15th century. Originally constructed as a trade post, Elmina later became a central site in the slave trade. The site’s walls still hold memories of those who endured unimaginable hardship. Afternoon Adventure at Kakum National Park
After a break for lunch, head to Kakum National Park, home to one of West Africa’s only canopy walkways. Suspended 40 meters above the forest floor, the walkway provides a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the vibrant rainforest. This park is known for its incredible biodiversity, and you may encounter monkeys, butterflies, and exotic birds. Take a guided tour along the forest floor to explore the dense vegetation and learn about traditional medicinal plants that grow beneath the canopy.

Evening Return to Aburi
After a full day of exploring Ghana’s rich history and natural beauty, return to Aburi for a restful evening.

Day 3: Nkyinkyim Museum – Art and Storytelling

Morning to Afternoon – Immersive Art and History at Nkyinkyim Museum
Begin your day at the Nkyinkyim Museum, an open-air gallery that uses art to tell Ghana’s story. Wander among thought-provoking sculptures and installations that depict everything from ancient customs to modern Ghanaian life. Each piece captures an aspect of Ghana’s identity and invites viewers to reflect on the country’s cultural heritage.

Hands-On Activity and Traditional Lunch
Engage in a hands-on activity at the museum, where you’ll have a chance to try your hand at traditional crafting or sculpting, guided by local artists. Following this interactive session, enjoy a hearty lunch featuring classic Ghanaian dishes, giving you a true taste of the region’s culinary heritage.

This all-inclusive package is designed for an enriching, hassle-free experience. The package includes:

• Site Entry Fees: Entry fees to all sites, including Boti Falls, Assin Manso, Cape Coast Dungeon, Elmina Dungeon, Kakum National Park, and the Nkyinkyim Museum.

BOOKING AND CONDITIONS:  A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 per person is required at the time of booking.  Final payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to departure. Payments received after the deadline date will be subject to $50.00 administrative fee. 

H.I.M. TOURS reserves the right to cancel without refund any passenger NOT paid in full 30 days prior to departure. Reinstatement of a passenger is considered a last minute booking. Last minute booking, 30 days or less prior to departure will have to pay the applicable airfare at the time of booking and $250.00 to cover administrative costs.   

REFUNDS All payments to HIM Tours Ghana are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is due to HIM Tours Ghana's contractual agreements with hotels, airlines and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This will allow us to price our packages competitively and allows for you to make monthly payments on your vacation.  However, HIM Tours Ghana will provide a travel credit if the trip is suspended by the company. Any travel credit must be used within 12 months from the date the credit is issued.

TRAVEL PROTECTION IS REQUIRED: No refunds for services or sightseeing rendered and not used by tour members. H.I.M. Tours Ghana reserves the right to cancel, withdraw or change the tour in whole or in part at any time in the event a change is deemed necessary by H.I.M. Tours Ghana. 

PHOTOGRAPHIC RELEASE   Traveling with HIM Tours Ghana grants permission to take photographs or videos of its vacations and trip participants to be used for promotional or commercial use without payment of any compensation to the participants.

RESPONSIBILITY: H.I.M. Tours Ghana and their Agents assume no liability or responsibility for any injuries or loss of property, accident, delay, changes in schedule or itinerary or incidental damages, occasioned by circumstances beyond the control of H.I.M. Tours Ghana or by any person or reason whatsoever, including but not limited to default or omission of and by any third party providing services or facilities related to or included in this tour or any part thereof or in arranging for same. The airline carriers and other transportation companies whose services are featured in these tours are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board their respective conveyance. The passage contract in use by these companies, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger and H.I.M. Tours Ghana.
