About your surf lessons: First you will have a theory lesson (20-30 min) on land where you will learn about the reef here in Encuentro Beach, rip currents, waves and wind conditions of Cabarete and how to stand properly on the board having the opportunity to practice on our simulators. After you will enter the water with your private certified instructor for one full hour. He will teach you how to choose the perfect wave, how to paddle correctly to catch it and when is the perfect time to stand up. The instructor will push you to your limits to make the most of your surf lesson. If you decide you would like to keep practicing on your own after your lesson you can still use all surf boards and surf gear throughout the day.

Our instructors will guide you and monitor your progress throughout the week. Each day, you'll receive personalized feedback on your surf sessions along with tips to help you improve for the next day.
