I did the 14 Day Guianas Tour. And it delivered exactly what was promised. Got to see a lot in two weeks and definitely hit all the highlights. The guides and drivers were all good... even great. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, trustworthy, and willing to share information about their respective countries. I also found the home office (Dinesh and Borger) to be very responsive and willing to answer questions. I thought the highlights included the visits to Knini Paati and Kabalebo Lodges. True wilderness experiences, they provided a phenomenal up close look at nature. The staff at each location was also top notch. I also really enjoyed the day trip to Devil's Island in French Guiana. It offered a beautiful setting combined with a fascinating history. The picture taking opportunities throughout the tour were just amazing. Hotel check in and check outs were super smooth - the tour company handled everything. Crucially, all of the sightseeing stops over the course of two weeks were worthwhile and offered a diverse variety of experiences. There wasn't a single place I regretted visiting. Having said all that, you have to keep a few things in mind for this tour. There's not really an established tourist infrastructure in these three countries, so a little patience goes a long way. As well as a sense of adventure. Delays were common and not everything ran like clockwork. (e.g. My trip to Kaiteur Falls in Guyana was cancelled and I received a refund because the authorities closed the park on one day's notice for a VIP tour). The hotels in Paramaribo and Kourou were more than adequate, but the one in Georgetown had issues. (To be fair, there's not a lot of options there). While the guides and drivers all did a terrific job, you constantly got new ones for each leg of the tour. The downside was that they were unable to tell you what to expect the following day in terms of what to wear, food options, do's and don'ts etc. Sometimes educated guesses were called for. (Just an example: It's a minor thing, but twice I was offered the opportunity to go swimming, but hadn't brought a bathing suit that day since I assumed I wouldn't need it). But all in all, I can't think of a better way to see the highlights of all three countries. And in my opinion, it's definitely worth it to do the extended 14 day version of the tour which included the visit to Kabalebo. All the tours squeeze in a lot and successfully combine a lot of moving parts. Overall, I had a great time and am really glad I went.

We have done over the years done many trips all over the world. Our 7 day Three Guyanas trip has been one of the very best. In particular, the quality of the guides and drivers was outstanding. Kenneth, John and Dizelle (sp?) were all friendly, helpful, proud of their respective countries, and eager to share their extensive knowledge with travelers. We can highly recommend this tour.

I had a great time on this tour. TTG booked the tour for me. I drove to Kourou myself, but Glen and John happened to be there for another traveler and helped me get on the right boat and once on the islands, John gave me tips and suggestions so I can maximize the trip experience. I am deeply thankful to John for this. Overall, a great experience. Also, I did some this piece wise but I think if you let TTG handle the whole 3x Guianas visit for you, they can create an amazing journey for you. Go for it.

TTG is an excellent and professional company. I was doing my visit of the Guyanas piece wise and on my own and not as part of an overall tour. In this quest, I realized the complexity of getting to Cayenne from Paramaribo, given direct flights are not available. Luckily I found TTG. They arranged a perfect and excellent transfer for me. First off, they were extremely responsive to my questions. This gave me peace of mind. The day of the trip, driver showed up well on time. Drove professionally and courteously. Made sure I understood the border requirements etc. the arranged boat was ready for me. My driver on French Guiana side, was also excellent. He was there to receive me as soon as I did the border crossing. The drive is long, but he was again professional, safe, and courteous. I had asked for a brief detour, that ended up taking an hour. The driver patiently waited for me, and made sure I got to my hotel safely. I highly recommend Travel The Guianas.
