About this trip
The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level.
- Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You’ve seen them underwater. They more easily observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought You can achieve this too.

During two scuba dives, you’ll learn how to:
- Determine the exact weight you need, so you’re not too light or too heavy.
- Trim your weight system and scuba gear so you’re perfectly balanced in the water.
- Streamline to save energy, use air more efficiently and move more smoothly through the water.
- Hover effortlessly in any position – vertical or horizontal.
Requirements

-PADI Junior Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another training organization

Huatulco National Park is in Huatulco, Oaxaca and stretches out over 22 miles of coastline and is set within a beautiful natural area with the Sierra Madre Mountains forming a stunning backdrop.
In addition, Huatulco is made up of 9 bays and 36 beaches. Most have blue-green water, and the sand ranges from golden to white.
Huatulco Dive Center is located in the elegant Sea Soul Beach Club on playa Chahue overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Our boat is designed for diving, with a capacity of 10 guests plus staff, Mako has excellent stability, ample passenger space and is made of high-quality materials.
This provides confortable, and safe transportation to our dive locations.

I had a wonderful dive with Leo. Lots of marine life but unfortunately no large marine animals. Highlight was the seahorse and nudibranch. Ken and his wife were great hosts and very accommodating. Would definitely be back. Highly recommend.

From initial contact with Ken they were very accommodating, setup a dive class for my daughter and advanced dives for me. I had a few great dives. I dove with all the dive masters and all were great. I would definitely recommend Huatulco Dive center.

Hi, this is a long over due review. Our son received his diving certification with HDC two years ago when he was 12. I must say everyone that works there is very professional, knowledgeable and super friendly. I was a little nervous dropping him off the first time to go diving on his own with people that I didn't know, but they treat him with the upmost respect and I feel 100% comfortable when he goes off diving with them and know that he is safe. I would highly recommend HDC to anyone who is looking to get certified or going out for a superb dive with wonderful people.
