Pedra Bonita, at an altitude of 693 meters, is located in Sector C of Tijuca National Park. Thanks to its privileged location, the area houses the only paragliding take-off ramp in the city of Rio de Janeiro, where it is possible to practice Hang Gliding and Paragliding. The ramp features a small bleacher, providing a comfortable space to watch the take-offs and an excellent spot for taking memorable photos.
At the top of Pedra Bonita, the scenery is stunning: the majestic Pedra da Gávea rises between the beaches of Barra da Tijuca and São Conrado, while the vastness of Tijuca Forest surrounds the area, creating a unique atmosphere of peace and unparalleled beauty.

After 1 hour of easy hiking, we reach the summit of Pedra Bonita, with views of the city of Rio de Janeiro and the imposing face of the emperor, Pedra da Gávea.
Paragliding Launch Ramp
After the hike, we will watch the take-offs at the Pedra Bonita paragliding launch ramp.
