After visiting Peru 9 times for a Safe Water Project I managed and experiencing the Sacred Valley & MachuPicchu in 2016, it is time for me to take you with me, so that YOU can treat yourself to one of the most unforgettable experiences of your life.
Experience the beauty & magic that Peru has to offer with so much history, amazing food and culture.
Arrive to Lima, Peru by Saturday, 4/21/2018 & spend the first two days exploring the city, culture & wonderful Peruvian cuisine & history. Followed by 6 days visiting the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu & Cusco.
This trip includes:
- 8 days in Peru, visiting Lima, Cusco, Ollantaytambo, Sacred Valley & MachuPicchu
- 7 nights of stay in 3-4 star Hotels
-Tickets to enter MachuPicchu & Sacred Valley ruins (Boleto turistico)
- MachuPicchu entrance could include hike to Wayna Pichu or MachuPicchu mountain (pending availability)
- Lima historic city tour
- Local transportation (excludes your transport Lima Airport to Hotel on arrival date, about $25)
- Roundtrip airfare Lima - Cusco on 4/23 to 4/28. It doesn’t include flight to Lima; you will need to purchase your round trip flight to Lima & back home.
- Train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, planned for Wednesday 4/25
- Breakfast & dinners in all cities. Starting with dinner on 4/21 and ending with breakfast on 4/28.
-Special last night farewell dinner at a special restaurant in Cusco
We're still building final details to this trip. However, the overall plan is:
-To spend 2 nights in Lima, Saturday and Sunday. Learning about history and eating the traditional and amazing food of Peru. Great dinner location in Lima surrounded by lots of history.
-Fly to Cusco from Lima on Monday and stay in the Sacred Valley for one night before heading to Machu Picchu. Confirming hotel in Ollantaytambo (where we will visit the ruins too)
-Take train to Aguas Caliente (Machu Picchu town) and spend two nights there.
-Visit the magic Machu Picchu ruins. Pending availability, we could reserve our entrance with the mountain hike (about 3 hours total) to Wayna Picchu or Machu Picchu.
-Head back towards Cusco to visit more of the Sacred Valley once your body has acclimated to the altitude (Cusco is at a higher altitude than Machu Picchu area).
-Spend the last 2 nights in Cusco, discovering this amazing city.
-Fly back to Lima on Saturday, 4/28. Or continue your own adventure!
CANCELATION POLICY
Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance that will cover the extent of risk you foresee.
IF WE CANCEL THE RETREAT:
We hope to never have a reason to cancel a retreat; however, if we must cancel the trip due to extreme circumstance, we will refund your payment. We cannot however compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. In the unlikely event of retreat being cancelled due to weather, natural disaster or political upheaval, we cannot guarantee a refund, it will be depending on receiving a refund from the venue we work with. To cover these risks, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.

We will explore the capital of Peru, a city founded since 1535.
We'll visit the Plaza de Armas, Plaza San Martín, la Plaza del Congreso, Palacio de Justicia, and more.
We'll enjoy a meal at one of the most beautiful places we've discovered in Lima (Huaca Pucllana)
