Join us for an unforgettable journey through the heart of Peru as we hike the legendary 26-mile Inca Trail to the breathtaking ruins of Machu Picchu! This group trip, organized by Travel Light, promises an immersive experience filled with stunning landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture.

We Kick off our adventure in the charming city of Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire. We’ll spend the first few days acclimatizing to the altitude while exploring Cusco’s vibrant markets, exquisite colonial architecture, and nearby archaeological sites. Enjoy a guided tour to the Sacred Valley, where you’ll marvel at the ancient ruins of Ollantaytambo and Pisac. Enjoy local cuisine and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of this enchanting region.

The journey continues as we embark on the iconic Inca Trail. Over four exhilarating days, we’ll trek through stunning Andean landscapes, lush cloud forests, and fascinating Incan sites. Our expert local guides will share stories of the Incas, and each campsite will offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. On the final day, we’ll rise early to reach the Sun Gate at sunrise, revealing the majestic Machu Picchu in all its glory. What an epic experience!!! Melanie and Enzo did a great job hosting the trip - they provided support and guidance on exactly how to approach some of the challenging aspects of this type of travel. The hikes featured some of the most scenic landscapes imaginable. Special add on excursions made the experience that much more special - Estanica La Peninsula, the Puerto Natales Gin Bar and Big Foot Glacier Excursion - all three were unique. I love this type of travel.

When I signed up for this event, I did not know what to expect and it was truly one of the most epic experiences. The itinerary was so thoughtful, the hosts Melanie and Ashley were so welcoming, the home the retreat was hosted in was spectacular...the fellow retreat attendees were absolutely a joy. An unforgettable experience - highly recommend anyone who is looking to work on their wellness and experience some of the magic of Sedona!

The hosts created an inspiring, welcoming space that allowed each of us to reconnect with nature and embrace our worthiness. Their thoughtful approach brought peace and adventure into my life, and Sedona now holds a special place in my heart. Many thanks for organizing such a meaningful experience—I look forward to joining another Travel Light Adventure in the future!
