Julian and his crew is an example of an almost perfect team. With his great experience he made this trip unforgetable. We enjoyed deeply the atmosphere, the nature, the trail, the altitude and especially the food provided to us. This was a family trip of a lifetime, my two adult children, my hubby and I.  I was challenged the most as it was a difficult trek but I loved having the opportunity to do it with my family.  We had a great group, friendly and fun, our guides Marco and Pepe were amazing, the porters were superhuman and each day we had delicious meals.  

The trip and itinerary were great. Our guide Katia Munaytika was amazing!! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made our day tours and the tour of Machu Picchu incredible! Ultimate Salkantay Trek 5 days - TreXperience

The salkantay trek was a great experience. The planning beforehand went smooth and every question was answered. The whole process from booking over planning to the actual trek was transparent, there were no hidden costs or things we did not know about. On the trek itself, the planning went always flexible and according to the whishes of the hiking group.

The food was excellent and better than one could hope for. The Chef Zenovio and the Souschef Dario did an fantastic job, every day the food was different and we had the opportunity to try many peruvian dishes. The vegetarian options were also delicious. Thank you for that, it really helped on that challenging hike. Horseman Eliceo also did a great job.

Last but not least: big thanks to our guide Manolo. He is a very nice guy who is a pleasure to have around. He told us many interesting stories about Peru, the Quechua and their history. He always guided us in a great way, never pushed us, took the time to get us used to the altitude. We were hiking in rainy season, so there were some fresh landslides and dangerous parts along the way. But with Manolo, we always felt safe. Thank you!

2 days of emerging yourself in the quetua heritage. Our tour guide, Katie, was very informative and passionate about her culture. I enjoyed the variety of activities on day 1. It made time go by fast, but you don’t get back until 7:00pm. Included lunch and dinner the first day and breakfast the second day. Sacred valley and machu piccu both had beautiful views!

We had a great time!  Christian and Julio were excellent guides.  They were encouraging and knowledgeable.  The hike and climb were invigorating and challenging and they were there to guide us.  They did a great job of managing 11 strangers and we had a fun group.  Even when things didn't go exactly as planned, they came to the rescue to make sure we all got to where we needed to be.  It was the trip of a lifetime, richly historical, adventurous and fun!  Thanks for a great time Christian and Julio!

Montaña Machu Picchu hike

This was an amazing trip, well worth the extra day and upgrading to the Luxury option. TreXperience continued to delight and never disappointed. Our guides (Edy & Maribel)were knowledgeable, flexible, and knew just what to do at every step. They brought passion about their culture and their history. TreXperience was 1st class. We drove early to Rainbow Mountain, where were fed a full breakfast cooked right there for us. Then our guide Roger took us up to Rainbow Mountain and then to the Red Valley. It was amazing. Roger was supportive, and knowledgeable. He answer all our questions. After hiking back  they had lunch all prepared and we ate it in a tent just outside the Rainbow mountain area. The food was amazing! We felt we lucked out with TreXperience. They always delighted and never disappointed. I highly recommend both TreXperience and Roger.

This honestly was the trip of a lifetime.  Our guide, Reynaldo, was courteous, informative, fun and friendly from the outset, pojutting at ease, but also ensuring we were ready and prepared for our epic adventure.  From our 4am collection (when he carried our suitcases down 3 flights of stairs) to the end of the trip when we he kept the group together as we arrived at the SunGate, he was an absolute legend and kept us safe and entertained throughout.  The porters were machines and our campsite was always set up beautifully with a big round of applause as we arrived each afternoon.  The food was outstanding, with plenty of choice, and the chefs catered perfectly for my fussy food requirements (a vegetarian that doesn't eat bread).  The trek was hard, so shouldn't be entered into lightly, but with some training beforehand, mountain sickness medication, a positive mindset and the willingness to muck in, make friends and power on in inclement weather, we achieved a dream and made it to the end.  Machu Picchu is the end of the journey, but what you see, hear and feel along the 4 day trek was for me the best part.  I loved the physical challenge, but moreover was emersed in the natural beauty of the area - from open trails to Amazon rainforest, the flora and fauna was spectacular and I could have stayed forever just watching the birds.  A highlight was spotting two condor, along with the daily delights of the hummingbirds.  I will never forget this trip and want to say a huge thank you to Reynaldo and his team for making it so special.

Luxury Inca Trail 4 days and 3 nights - Team Alex

The trip was fantastic overall!  Excellent care and attention especially during the hiking portion of the trip.  Food prepared at the campsites was outstanding and reflected local cuisines.  Could not have asked for a better experience!

Visting Cusco and Salkantay 10D/9N and Rainbow - for Andy

An amazing experience with so many different parts. Cusco City Tour on the first day, very interesting to see Inca sites. Then Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley - this included a breakfast and lunch near to Rainbow Mountain. The walk goes to over 5,000 metres, but you start high and it is only about 3km. The drive is over 2 1/2 hours each way, but worth it.
We then did a full day in Sacred Valley visiting more Inca sites, having a big buffet lunch, and seeing a fabulous slat mine.
Then the big one - 4 days of walking the Inca Trail, finishing at Machu Picchu via the Sun Gate. This was so well organised, with fantastic food provided, porters to carry tents and overnight bags, and the tents set up for when you arrive at the end of a long day. The Guides Reynaldo and Gilbert were great, keeping a steady pace with stops and lots of information. This is positively the best way to arrive at Machu Picchu.
Highly recommended!

Inca Trail + Rainbow Mountain 8 days - TreXperience

I loved this tour, it was fun.  We really had a great group and Frank was awesome and Maribel was an angel.  My husband got ill and she returned to the start with him and took care of him so I could continue on.  Thank you, both.  Our porters were fantastic, and had our camp set up each night upon our arrival, greeting us with warm water to wash up with before dinner and bed.  A few areas for improvement - serve more protein (chicken) with the meals.  I ate so many carbs on this trip and never had enough protein....the "happy hour" and the dinner should be closer together, so we could get more sleep, and Frank, please make sure everyone is within ear-shot when talking about the sites, everything was so interesting, I sometimes missed stuff when there were other crowds around, or I was at the back of the group.  But all in all, what a wonderful experience - thank you team - 5 stars for sure!!!!

Huymantay Lake with Jose was great - we traveled quickly up the mountain and enjoyed a short visit with the sun and the lake before the rain came - overall, fun day - I would give this tour and Jose 5 stars.

Rainbow Mountain was FABULOUS!  I lucked out with Leo - it was just the two of us, as my husband was ill and chose not to attend.  We went quickly up the mountain, Leo took great photos and knew all the great spots!  We headed to Red Valley and enjoyed the scenery there with some snow, before heading back down.  We made great time and had lunch at the bottomEsteban and Luis Miguel - to be interrupted by horrible rain.  The team quickly packed up and had us on the road, getting me back at the hotel earlier than anticipated - thanks to great driving by Juan.  I was back at the hotel before 4 - great work, great people, great tour!!  Definitely 5 stars for this team!

Super Sacred Valley tour - great history and sights.  Jennifer was knowledgable and helpful and feeding the llamas was fun.  Loved the tour, hated the long day.  It's so important to stick to the schedule and return visitors when expected.  Unfortunately, this ended up being a 14 hour day.  Sad, as the next day we had another early rise for Humantay Lake, followed by the 4 - day trek of the Inca trail the following day.  We were told we'd be back by 530-6, but returned to our hotel at 745.  There was a festival that delayed us, and also other tour guests needing to be dropped at other places and checked into hotels with their luggage, which delayed everyone's day.  Therefore, I'd give this tour a 3/5 stars. It had a very disappointing finish.  Lunch was included at 1-2, but then nothing to eat until 8 or so once we arrived home, tired and wanting to sleep.......

We had a wonderful time. A local company who had passion for what they do. Everyone including our guides were excellent and well organised. The food was delicious, especially as we did not eat meat, there was lots of choices.

PVT Short Inca Trail 2 days to Machu Picchu - Sekulovski X2

Inkatrail was really a great experience. We were lucky to have such a small group and to have José, who knows the sites very well and who took great care of us. On a whole, for me the Inka trail was less of a mountain adventure, but more of a cultural hike, with much sightseeing. We expected more sports and more hiking. Aside from that for me it was not so easy to have porters doing so much for us. I would have prefered to carry more of myself and have simpler meals. 
Concerning the rentals: sleeping bags were perfect and really warm. I didn´t know, that I would have had an air mat anyway. To rent a second was not necessary.

Trexperience fragten uns, beim Buchen vom Inkatrail, ob wir nicht auch auf den Huayna Picchu möchte. Wir sagten zu, ohne recht zu wissen, ob es uns tatsächlich nach 4 Tagen noch freut, auf diesen Berg auch noch zu gehen. Der Rest der Gruppe (vom Inkatrail) ging nicht. Auch unserer Meinung nach wäre es nicht wirklich notwendig gewesen. Vor allem der Preis ist unseres Erachtens überteuert. Besser ist es, den Berg gleich in der Früh, wenn noch weniger Leute sind, zu besteigen und im Anschluss Macchu Picchu zu besichtigen. Die Kombi mit Inkatrail würde ich nicht nochmal machen. 

Huayna Picchu Mountain hike -  Trekking Tours

We had a wonderful time!  The guides Pepe and Rosmel were so awesome; both were caring and knowledgeable and the group's wellbeing was always of paramount importance  (our group's ages ranged from 20 years to mid sixties).  The food was outstanding and specialty cooked with local flair.  The camp was comfortable and I slept so soundly.  The porters were wonderful having everything in camp ready for us when we arrived and even clapping as we came in.  It was a trip of a lifetime and I will never forget the wonderful people who made it possible.  As one of the older hikers of the group at 55, I highly recommend TreXperience!

This was a very well organised trek. We were unlucky with the weather on Days 2 and 3 (rain) but very lucky on the most important day, Day 4, when we arrived at Machu Picchu. My 10 young (26-38) companions were a good bunch. Overall, I cannot fault the (tr)experience! I did not like the rather grubby and overcrowded campsites on Days 2 and 3 but then they are the same for everyone, whatever company they booked with.

El viaje fue increíble, una experiencia inolvidable. Fue un gusto poder compartir con los guías Reynaldo y Gilberto. Fue un camino con muchas explicaciones de la cultura incaica, sus paisajes y caminos empedrados que marcan la historia de este imperio que fue de los más grandes de nuestra región y continente en aquellos tiempos hasta la llegada de los españoles. Poder ver sus construcciones y vestigios arqueológicos, además de admirar la belleza de sus paisajes hizo de esta experiencia un tiempo excelente. 
Agradezco además a la empresa por proveerme gentilmente de una bolsa de dormir y de bastones de trekking para el camino.
Recomiendo a esta empresa TrekXperience por su servicio excelente de guías, comidas típicas peruanas y fusiones en el transcurso por sus chefs, y sus amables porteadores que con muchísimo empeño y esfuerzo buscan que tengamos un tiempo de lo más provechoso en sus tierras.

Such a great experience! Gilbert and Pepe were the best guides, making sure we were safe, happy and well cared for all the time. The food of the chef Balbino and his crew was AMAZING! I was served the vegetarian option which was always super delicious and plenty! The tents and bungalows we stayed in were also very comfortable. Highly recommend! Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful time on the Salkantay Trek, stunning scenery, delicious food and comfortable sleeping arrangements in the mountain ranges. The coffee tour and pachamama were a big highlight, we loved meeting local people and learning about their customs and culture, thanks especially for helping to deal with altitude sickness on day 2, it really felt like the group worked together, taking care of each other to see everyone through to the end, of course seeing Machu Picchu was truly magical to finish this amazing experience.

This trek was such an amazing experience! The company TreXperience was organized and had everything we needed at every point. We had a large group of trekkers and the three guides, Aberlado, Rosmel, and Elias, were so wonderful. They each were warm and welcoming in their own way, and each very knowledgeable able eager to share their culture with the trekkers. When I felt unwell with altitude sickness, I felt comforted and trusted their guidance to help me through it. The cooks prepared amazing food for every meal and the porters were friendly and incredibly strong! My partner and I would recommend TreXperience to anyone looking to trek in Peru!

The only thing what is really important, the km at the internet is not what is is in real. It is important to know, that the tour is not that lang as it says on the website. It is almost the half of kilometer!

El viaje fui increíble, las vistas son maravillosas y merece la pena cien por cien. 

Lo único que cambiaria seria que el ultimo día no tiene sentido estar levantados desde las 2:45 para estar casi 3 horas esperando en un banco para la entrada al parque. Entiendo que los porteadores deben bajar y desmontar todo pero podrían comprarles otro billete mas tardío. Por otro lado creo que deberían estar incluida la comida a los porteadores, hacen un trabajo espectacular. 
Por otro lado no me gusta que los guías no vuelvan en el mismo vagón que nosotros.
Nuestros guías Pepe y Alejandro increíbles, muy atentos con todos, ayudando al grupo y las explicaciones de Pepe impresionantes, gran guía no lo pierdan

Even though the trek was hard, our guides helped immensely and made sure we did not get left behind. Gave lots of tips to help manage the altitude and gruelling steps. 
Our porters and chefs were fantastic! The food was excellent and very plentiful! Even birthday cake! 
The quality of tents and sleeping gear was very good, comfortable and warm. 

This is an amazing way to explore multiple incredible sites in a short amount of time.  Jennifer, our guide for the day, was knowledgeable, funny, and completely attentive to our needs.  She is warm and friendly in a way that puts you at ease rapidly.  The lunch buffet had an extraordinary amount of wonderful local dishes to try and it was all delicious!  I highly recommend this if you have only a short amount of time to explore.  If you prefer more immersion in each site you visit, perhaps ask about their other offerings.  I would recommend this trip most highly.

Hemos tenido una excelente experiencia con la agencia. Han estado siempre atentos, puntuales y cumpliendo todo lo ofrecido.

Cómo punto de mejora recomiendo informar a los turistas de habla hispana que los grupos son en su mayoría angloparlantes o mixtos de modo de poder evaluar si es la opción más conveniente.

Participar en grupos donde todos o la mayoría hablan ingles y la minoría español puede generar que se pierda la posibilidad de interactuar con los demás turistas además del guía tener que repetir la información en dos idiomas.

En nuestro caso en ambos tours los guías nos han explicado amablemente todo en español posterior a haber sido explicado en inglés.
