My second trip with Pickleball Cabo and just as wonderful! We played at the new Palmas Club, although still under construction a great facility! It’ll be amazing when completed. Our instructors Tony, Willie and Darren are excellent and thorough in their instruction and demonstration of the skills being taught. Lots of time for free play! My stay at Playa del Sol was good; older resort but very clean, good AC and genuinely friendly staff everywhere. We had a great group of people; four of us had been there in May so it was a mini-reunion! Many delicious meals at various restaurants. Good thing we played so much pickleball to burn off those calories! I have to give so much credit and praise to Chip, the organizer. He kept everything running so smoothly; this trip and my first trip in May were the most relaxing, carefree and enjoyable trips of my life!! Chip and his wife Quay are such a warm caring couple, I am privileged to know them. I treasure all the wonderful memories these experiences have given me.

This was my second time on the Pickleball Cabo Group trip to Los Barriles. I recruited some family members to join and we all had an amazing time. The new pickleball facility right in front of our hotel was great with 24 courts almost completed and also has a nice place to sit and enjoy great food and drinks. The hotel/resort is right on the beach and was very nice with friendly staff. We enjoyed a big variety of delicious meals around the town and at the hotel. The organizers Chip and Quay do an excellent job arranging our schedule and are very accommodating. The pickleball instructors Tony, Willie and Darren were extremely nice and excellent teachers for all levels. We are already talking about going back and making it an annual event. I highly recommend this trip if you like pickleball, great food in a charming Mexican beach town and meeting nice people.

This is now my second trip with Pickleball Cabo, and once again, it was fantastic! Chip has put together a fun experience filled with pickleball and good eating. Pickleball at the new Palmas Pickleball Resort and Academy is awesome. Morning smoothies at Palmas Pickleball were a great way to start the day before learning from the excellent pros at Palmas. During my first trip in May of 2024, I was brand new to pickleball having started 6 weeks earlier. I learned foundational skills during the first trip, but this time, I came prepared with questions and got a LOT out of the drills and playtime during the November 2024 trip. The food was excellent, and the dining experiences were fun. I enjoyed the free day, which began with a walk up the beach to a great breakfast with the best juice options. Went side by siding up the coast which was super fun to a great local lunch spot. The views were incredible. Our group this time was fun and personable, and I got to spend time with Chip, Quay, Dawn, Patrick, and Susan, who I met back in May of 2024. Perfect temperature, and while the wind proved a bit challenging, it was a great way to learn weather dynamics when playing pickleball. Great location, delicious food, and fantastic people around pickleball - who needs anything more?!?! Looking forward to coming back. Chip takes care of everything, making this trip logistically easy - Chip even took care of getting a quiet room with internet access for me to do work. At the core of this are the people who made this trip wonderful - the generous hearts of Tony and Wendy and getting to spend time with them with personally cooked food, Willie and Darren teaching us pickleball and running helpful drills, and watching the expo games and then playing with a few of the pros - super cool! The morning with Tony was great in defining some of our skills, and I picked up a new shot, which is like a punch volley meets a wiper blade - it worked the first time, and I have been incorporating it ever since. Also picked up some more helpful training methods moving forward as well. I made good friends during the May 2024 trip and added more amazing people to my friend roster - Randy and Laura! Happy to have gotten time to drill with John from Canada as well! If you are reading this review in earnest and want a fun experience coupled with pickleball - I highly recommend this trip. Chip is a standup guy who truly has things dialed in and Palmas Pickleball Resort and Academy is the primo place to play - the locals are fabulous, and it's a great location. Sign up - you won't regret it. I did this trip originally not knowing anyone and made friends immediately. Chip had a meet-and-greet video call for us all to meet before embarking, breaking some of the preliminary ice. So if you are a solo traveler - even better - go and meet new people. If you are lucky like me - you will find a group of people you like and you will go again on the same trip like Dawn, Patrick, Susan and I did this time. Bravo Chip and thank you from the bottom of my heart for another wonderful trip. See you in 2025!!

A fantastic trip! Chip did an amazing job organizing every little detail so that I was able to enjoy the entire experience from start to finish! Tony and Willie, our Pickleball instructors are top-notch. Personable, engaging and enthusiastic mentors of the game. Lessons were presented in a clear, concise manner, and the open play gave us the opportunity to put theory into practice. I stayed at the Playa del Sol, basic older hotel but clean and everything worked (good AC) and the staff were friendly so I was happy. We had so many great meals, whether at the two hotels restaurants or the various restaurants in the town. Many places had breathtaking views of the ocean. I chose the ATV ride for our free day and it was an exhilarating experience. Seeing the beauty of this area while racing along in an open vehicle - will be forever one of my best memories! I met a great group of people, our mutual love of Pickleball made for easy conversations and we melded as a group very quickly. Thank you Chip for making this vacation one of the best I’ve ever had!
