MAXIMUM IMPACT TRAVEL was created to foster international and domestic travel experiences. Founded by entrepreneur, playwright, author and philanthropist: Jay Cameron. Realizing that most of his life had been consumed by working domestically, a trip to Ghana changed his perspective. His experience transformed the way he saw traveling. As a result, he set out to encourage others to see the world through their own eyes, not only through the eyes of the media. You are invited to join Jay and his team on their adventures around the globe!

I had such a wonderful memorable experience learning about the history and culture of Ghana. The tour guides and bus driver were exceptional. Morris, Irene , George and our bus drivers were fantastic and deserve continuing praise. The accommodations and restaurants were great. Honestly I would not change a thing about my experience. Thank you to Jay and and his team of professionals. this trip will stay with me for a very very long time until I can return again.

What makes separates a good tour trip from a GREAT tour trip are 2 things: 1. How staff handle unexpected issues. 2. how they care for the members on the tour. Morris, Irene, George, Jude, Mahmu (please forgive me if I misspelled anything): These folks fixed a couple of issues for me and a family member that made the trip so much more enjoyable. And they generally care about the welfare of the members on tour! Then...great food, great conversation, great places. Very knowledgeable. Established a couple of life-long connections, child-friendly... We enjoyed the trip and the staff!

We Would Happily Do It Again! Our family had a magnificent trip organized by Maximum Impact (MI). MI customized our itinerary to cover South Africa (J-Burg/Cape Town) and Zambia (Victoria Falls) in 14 days. There are many reasons for our strong recommendation to book your trip with MAXIMUM IMPACT (MI). Our trip was superbly organized. Every detail in our itinerary was accurate and expertly managed. Anitha, our MI on-site coordinator and Herbie our local guide rolled with any issue we had including a lost camera, missing passport and illness . We traveled in luxury motor coaches to our destinations and MI Staff were always early, and ready to stay late. We received special treatment everywhere we went, and it was obviously because Anitha & Herbie are well known and respected. Our “Cousins Crew Family Experience” memories will bring smiles to our faces for a long time. Thanks to Maximum Impact for making this possible. Barbara/Don Armstead

This trip was soooo A-mazing!!! The tour guide Morris and his team did a phenomenal job!!!! He ensured we had the best experience and everyone felt safe and secure under his leadership and guidance. Our group became a family by the end of the trip. We had jam-packed days full of cultural experiences, history, and fun. Our lives will forever be changed. Special thank you sooo much to Morris, Irene, Vicky, George, Noah (the best bus driver on the continent), Kofi and Omar. Urban Intellectual you have done an amazing job connecting travelers with local tour guides to provide such an enriched and loving experience. I will definitely be traveling with you all again and spreading the word.

I had the absolute privilege of joining the Gateway Experience Ghana, July 2022. There's only one word to describe it - TRANSFORMATIVE. Jay has done the work and created a truly phenomenal travel experience. Because of his efforts, I connected with the ancestors, with Ghanaians, with Africans and with myself. I fell in love with Ghana and am now planning to move there. Jay and his local team - the incomparable Morris and the loyal Ernest - took care of every detail and provided a trip that was informative, enjoyable and safe. I don't think I could have that experience with any other tour operator. From now on, I will only travel with Jay and Maximum Impact when I visit any place in Africa. In fact, my group and I are planning to travel together again to Tanzania next year. It's just that deep. If you love Black people and Blackness, then love yourself by booking a trip with Maximum Impact!

Customer service exceptional! What a pleasure to work with Maximum Impact Travel for this trip. They are thorough and very attentive as there are several steps to traveling to Ghana; the entire Maximum Impact team made the booking process seamless with EASY-to-follow instructions. All questions I had were answered promptly and professionally. And, oh my goodness, once you get to Ghana, you will be warmly received by the Maximum Impact team and treated like a V.I.P. Accommodations are clean and super-comfortable and offer all amenities. Don’t hesitate booking the trip if you’re traveling solo as I was. It’s a trip of a lifetime where you will meet wonderful traveling companions, tour the country with knowledgeable guides and wish that the trip was longer. I LOVED IT! A powerful and stirring cultural tour that also includes fun-loving activities. Outstanding job by Maximum Impact. I’m already planning my next tour with you.
