About this trip

This year, be part of something magical when two of Haiti's best tour operators: Haitian Nomad & Mennen'm La partner together to give you an experience of a lifetime at The Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival.  Thanks to this partnership, you'll get to experience three of Haiti's best cities: Cap-Haitien/Milot & Port-au-Prince! Stand on top of the LARGEST fortress of the Americas--built by 20,000 former slaves one day while dancing to the beat of the drums of our African ancestors & the smoothing sounds of the Jazz Saxophonist the next.

This tour gives you the BEST Haiti has to offer in ONE package !

The PapJazz is a non-profit event, features an unprecedented cultural assembly to a local and international audience and is one of the best example of successful partnership between the international community via embassies of Belgium, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Mexico, Panama, Spain, Switzerland and the United States of America, the public sector through Haitian Ministry of Culture and Tourism and local private institutions and sponsors such as Prestige (Heineken), Rhum Barbancourt, Sogebank, Mercedes-Benz, Air France and Delta.

It was another EPIC, EDUCATIONAL UNOFICIAL HAITIAN NOMAD GIRLS TRIP EXPERIENCE! Our Ambassador Dr. Toi Washington-Simon is an excellent fun hostess. We were greeted with a beautiful bunch of roses and our farewell gift was a beautiful Maasai Mara Shuka.. She's also a very creative story creator and teller. IYKYK 😆 🤣 😂 In Zanzibar our tour guides Steven and Steven were excellent. Our visit with the Mamas of Zanzibar was a great cultural immersion experience. We got dressed up in their traditional wear and went to the market to buy our ingredients to cook our lunch. This experience was reminiscent of going to the market with my grandmother on Saturday mornings. The food was delicious. Swimming with the tortoises was an EPIC experience. Kenya was another EPIC adventure. Feeding the giraffes, elephants and going to the safari were excellent experiences. Visiting the Maasa Mara was a very educational cultural experience. Watching them jump and learning their History was fascinating. Getting a chance to Jump with them was a dream come through. Our tour guide uncle George is a natural comedian. 😆 🤣 😂. He and his staff are excellent tour guides. I stayed for 2 extra days after the group left and Ben, who works with the company took me on a very interesting and educational tour of Nairobi. I even had the opportunity to dance in the Bomas Of Kenya Auditorium. That's the venue where the winner of the presidential election in Kenya is declared I also visited the Homestead there. Very interesting and educational. As always our accommodations were Top Tier and it was a fun group of sisters. If you want a really GREAT, EPIC, EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, IMMERSION EXPERIENCE BOOK YOUR NEXT VACATION, ADVENTURE EXPERIENCE WITH HAITIAN NOMAD. ASAP! See you soon.

My favorite memory was when I celebrated my 50th birthday all year. During this year, I experienced my first trip to Haiti and Saut-d'eau. I got no picture to share. 🚫 This was a spiritual voyage for me, but I didn’t know it until I experienced it. This trip was also a highlight of my life. Thank you HNM! Congratulations on your success! Donna Marie

My trip to the Amalfi Coast with Haitian Nomad was beyond Excellent. Haitian Nomad exceeded my expectations in quality, organization, and leadership. Richard's leadership qualities and abilities are what you look for when hiring a company hosting trips all over the world with over 20+ participants at one time. The Amalfi Coast was my first trip this past June - and it won't be my last. I enjoyed everything from the beginning - all the way to the end. The accommodations and comradery was great. I have to say that I have met some amazing people that I will continue to build a relationship with. Do not hesitate..... choose a destination and give Haitian Nomad a try..... Happy Traveling.

Let me start off with saying I had a ball on the trip. Toi was the best ambassador she had everything planned out for us. It was a trip that was well needed and I was glad that I took the chance to go half way around the world and I had a blast. Toi gets 200 stars she was the best. I would go on another trip as long as Toi is the ambassador. Toi thank you so much for showing up and showing out the best. I had a blast.
