Itinerary
We leave at 08:30 am from your hotel or place of stay in Quito
We head towards the "Avenue of the Volcanoes", where with a favorable climate we will observe volcanoes such as: the Illinizas, Pasochoa, Corazon, Cotopaxi and Tungurahua.
At the entrance of the Cotopaxi National Park we Will visit the Interpretation Center at 3,600 m where we will take the opportunity to acclimatize.
Then we will continue to the limpiopungo lagoon where we will observe several wild animals, especially birds. And from the parking lot (We will walk approximately 2 hours (round trip) to the José Rivas Refuge at 4864m altitude).
Return to Baños de Agua Santa (arrival around 18:00 h).
