This was probably my favourite thing I did on my 3 week trip. The views you got to experience were mind blowing. Photos can’t do justice to what you are seeing. The day itself was well organised. I was picked up by the guide at the time specified. We stopped at a gas station on the way so don’t worry if you don’t have time for breakfast or a coffee. The drive there was around 3 hours. The hike itself wasn’t too difficult but was challenging enough. The guide Gabriel was great and allowed us to go at our own pace. It was around 6 hours to get up and back. Another 3 hour drive back made it a really long day but it was definitely worth it. We also stopped off at the Inca bridge for a photo which was also something I wanted to see. Book the experience, you won’t regret it.

We booked this trip at the very last minute and weren’t sure what to expect…bit Federico was responsive even at 10pm and was able to book an experience for us the morning after! We had an AMAZING day!! Bauti, our guide, was WONDERFUL!! We loved him! He made our trip incredible! Super professional, kind, patient, caring, personable… he was GREAT in every way, and even brought us cherries from his garden! The hike itself was stunning, absolutely beautiful! We saw wild cows, llamas and condors! Thank you so so much for making it happen, we are grateful for the experience!
