I did the 7 days tour with Bonanza and it was for me the best week of 2024! It exceeded all my expectations. Already the drive through the cloud forest was beautiful and we got lucky seeing some beautiful birds. Each day the trip got better and better. Darwin was an excellent guide and an interesting person to talk with. He did an amazing job spotting the wildlife. Apart from dozens of birds, we also saw tapirs, giant otters and even a jaguar! I loved the night at the camouflage house, it was such an incredible experience. I really did not want to leave Manu National Park at the end anymore. It was one of the most magical places I've ever been to and I do travel a lot. The whole crew of Bonanza is wonderful, Ceasar drove safely at all times and helped out with cooking as well and Juan, our cook treated us to many delicious meals. I did a lot of research with which company to book my Manu trip and I could not have made a better decision than booking with Bonanza.

The trip was fabulous. Our guide was super nice and incredibly knowledgeable. The food (cook) was excellent. Simple foods but really tasty. Lots of vegetables and fruits. We are Americans and traveled with several Italians and a Swiss woman. Fun to get to know them. The traveling made for long days but the benefits made it all worthwhile-- birds, caimen, ottters, beautiful butterflies, and a river cat. We were also incredibly fortunate to see a jaguar in the early morning light as we left Manu. Definitely a trip to remember.

We did the Ecological Adventure in Manu tour (5 Days / 4 Nights) with tour guide Ryse and it was the tour of a lifetime. Ryse was a wonderful guide: he was responsive to what we really wanted to see (spiders! capybara!) and he was so incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and ecosystem of the jungle. He was unbelievably good at spotting wildlife and setting up his spotting scope so we could see the animals up close. Our chef, Bernardino, was incredible - cooking hot meals on the back of a boat and side of the road, always catering to our (not insubstantial) dietary restrictions with healthy, beautiful, delicious locally-sourced food. We saw so many kinds of birds and animals, went swimming in hot springs, fished for piranha, and did so much more. 10/10 recommend Bonanza Tours, it was truly the tour of a lifetime.

It was an absolutely amazing experience that exceeded all my expectations. Our guide Alex was a fantastic leader and showed us the the beauty of the rain forest and cloud forest. We enjoyed delicious food cooked by chef Bernardino, even far out in the jungle. Finally, the organisation was perfect all along the trip. Thank you Bonanza team!

The tour was very good. Everything is very well organized. Alejandro (Alex) knows all animals, especially for birding I recommend you to go with Alex. His knowledge is absolutely awesome. We had a great time in the jungle.
