About this trip

Hop on the bus with us as WETRAVEL north to Monticello, NY. Nestled among the beauty of the Catskill Mountains, we arrive at the Resorts World Catskills offering unmatched excitement, entertainment, and luxury.  Here we will stay for 1 night.

This tours special event is the show!  A musical tribute to the king himself - "ELVIS".  Crowned Graceland’s Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, Victor Trevino has wowed audiences all over the world, This show embraces the career of Elvis’ — From electric rock n’ roll of the 1950’s to the sultry, bluesy of the 1968, to the iconic record-breaking performances and the touring years. Enjoy  Love Me Tender, Jailhouse Rock, Hound Dog, Don’t Be Cruel, Heartbreak Hotel, and Suspicious Minds. This show recreates the amazing energy, passion, and showmanship of the irreplacable Elvis Presley.  


We will be departing from MANAHAWKIN, WHITING and MANCHESTER.  


Reservations made via WeTravel will be assessed a small fee.

Day One (Tuesday, August 6, 2024)   

Documents and itinerary will be sent 2-3 weeks prior to departure.  

ESTIMATED departure time (s) 7:30 - 8:30am 

 

Pick up #1  An am departure from Atlantic Hills Adult Community, Manahawkin, NJ - Parking permission can be obtained if this departure works for you


Pickup #2 - Continuing north we will board passengers at Ridgeway Volunteer Firehouse 2848 Ridgeway Road Manchester Twp., NJ 08759


Pick-up #3 - Private Community Departure.  Jackson. Four Seasons South Knolls.  Permission to park can be obtained if this location works for you.


**Rest Stop En Route- 30 minutes 


Early afternoon arrival at Resorts World Catskills -888 Resorts World Drive Monticello, NY 12701


Your casino package for today is  $25 slot credit, $20 meal voucher

Had fun on this trip, despite all the mishaps. Food at the casino was delicious. Told to go to reservation desk to pick up keys after 3:00. We waited till 4, took 1/2 hr to get our packet. Some packets were incomplete which caused more problems. Hotel staff, “ they weren't prepared for us. “ Hotel totally unorganized, got different info depending on who you spoke to. Never told buffet ended at 12:30 or when it started, only that coffee was available at 10. Info did not match itinerary from Stout, hotel said it was Stouts fault. After waiting 1 1/2 hrs for bags, went and got them myself. This trip could have used a tour guide.

Hello Margaret, We are happy to see that you were able to make a good thing out of what seemed to be a bit hectic. I have spoken to the back office, as I get very concerned when we are not on point with our venues. Unless I am misunderstanding we were given a contracted lunch spot of 12:30- 1:45 by ther booking operator. The opening and closing of buffet is a GENERAL public time. Groups are assigneed times to reduce a bottle neck. We will certainly and respectfully hear you about the escort and will add that in. This is our 4th journey to Resorts World yet our first mishap, HOWEVER 1 client mishap is too many. Thank you again for the gracious review. Reading them allows us to take a deeper dive into our planning and preparation and we will certainly be having a meeting with those involved on the front line.

Rooms were the very best. Show was ok. Actually the songs were great but the performance was no very good. However I took my sister for her 85th birthday and she LOVED it. So that's what was important to me. By now you have heard the luggage situation. Wrong color tags I believe was the problem. However they were pretty. If I had a complaint it would be lack of good eating facilities. I'm not a Chinese supporter, the little cafe good for breakfast. Would have liked the steak house. Would I go again, absolutely.

Horrible. Although I like Resorts. Room was not ready upon arrival. Waited 3 hours for it. After room was assigned, luggage not delivered for another hour. Given wrong times for lunch and show. Never given driver's name or contact number. If there was a problem we were on our own. Will not travel with Stout again.

Good Morning, I am deeply saddened we did not hold up to your expectations and respect the decision to not travel with us again. I would like to speak to the comments as I, and my team, show up each and everyday at our office to do nothing less than ensure flawless trips and open communication. Check in time for hotels are between 3 and 4pm. I do not see where we advised rooms will be ready upon arrival. We arrive at the property early to give ample time at the venue/casino. Baggage handling is definitely a challenge as hotels are still extremely short staffed and for that I have not excuse. I will, however, take a lesson away from this comment and clearly state that to avoid confusion in the future. Thank you for that perspective. The buffet is open from 10:30-2:00 We are assigned a slot for our group for lunch, as shown on itinerary. I verified prior to writing this that our time was accurate. There is no scheduled seating times at the show. I choose to pad our itinerary by 30 minutes to ensure our travelers get seated in time. Show started at 2:30. the time on the is intentional. Our driver is done after arrival and his personal cell phone is something I would never give out. My cell phone is connected to my office phone, therefore I am available 24/7/365 for any client. Our answering service at office has emergency systems in place. You are never "on your own". Again I respect your decision to no longer travel with Stout's but I cannot allow my company or my staff to be referred to as horrible. We take extreme pride in what they do and I stand behind their performance 100%. I could not ask for a more caring, group of people to call my team. I do hope you find a company that lives up to your expectations as you look to return to RESORTS WORLD. It is a great destination. We will take away some "lessoned learned" from your review and continue to be better each day.

Fantastic show. Shady Maple lunch was good but could have a better variety of food. They advertised a very long buffet but most items were duplicate as one walks down the food line. The food was fresh and flavourful. I will go on another trip with Stouts to see Noah September 2025. I give it five stars.

The Atlantic City Harbor Cruise was very enjoyable. The captain was knowledgeable of all the surroundings. The Casino Excursion was nice. Maybe trying another casino might be better. The best part was our driver, Rich. He is so pleasant, helpful and personable! He is very cautious when driving. He is an asset to the Stout Company.
