Full day fly fishing in Rio Penitente is a fantastic adventure for anglers looking to experience the pristine Patagonian wilderness and its prized fish.
Here's what you can expect:
LOCATION: Rio Penitente is located between Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales in southern Chile.
SEASON: The official fishing season runs from October 16 to April 14.
ITINERARY: Most fly fishing trips depart from Puerto Natales in the morning around 9 am and
return around 5 pm. And from Punta Arenas around 7 am.
ACTIVITIES: A full day fly fishing trip includes instruction and equipment (fly rods or conventional tackle) for both beginners and experienced anglers. If you're traveling with a non-fishing companion, some tour operators can arrange alternative activities for them. Like horseback riding.
FOOD AND DRINKS: Hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, fruits and snacks will be provided throughout the day.
