About this trip
Enjoy a two day visit to Carowinds Amusement park with a possible performance at the Carowinds Festival of Music for the band and public performance for the chorus (as scheduled by Carowinds and weather permitting). Trip pricing is based on 85 paying travelers. If the group is a different size, there will be an adjustment to the final payment amount.
Trip pricing
Quad Occupancy: $422.00 per person (all students will sign up for quad occupancy rooms)
Triple Occupancy: $436.00 per person
Double Occupancy: $465.00 per person (all chaperones will be assigned double occupancy rooms, but may request single occupancy if available)
Single Occupancy: $550.00 per person
The first payment is non-refundable unless we can secure another traveler to take your place (this is due to the bus deposit being non-refundable).
There are no refunds for trips cancelled after the February 15th payment. This is due to the non-refundable park tickets, space reserved in a hotel room and on the motorcoach for each traveler and meals purchased on behalf of each traveler.

Available Packages
All students will be in quad occupancy rooms unless the directors approve students to be in triple occupancy rooms (there is an upcharge for triple occupancy rooms). No parents may room with students unless under special circumstances which must be approved by the principal. For the students to truly get the best from this experience, we have found it is always better to have them in rooms with their friends to create those lifelong memories!
All chaperones will be assigned a double occupancy room at this time. You can request a single occupancy room and we will make every effort to accommodate your request. The single occupancy rooms will require an additional payment of $85.00. If you have a chaperone you would like to request to share your room with, please include that information on your trip registration.

Tentative Itinerary:
7:15 AM Motorcoaches arrive at school in Sandy Springs, GA
8:00 AM Depart for an approximate 4 hour drive to Charlotte, NC
12:30 PM Arrive in Charlotte and meet tour director
Visit Carowinds with lunch in the park (on your own)
Possible festival performance for the band
Possible public performance for the chorus
6:30 PM Meet tour director at park exit and load motorcoaches
7:00 PM Dinner and games at Dave and Busters or Similar
9:00 PM Hotel check-in: Drury Inn (or similar)
