Great location Thank you!

The Russian MBA group was a lot of fun. It was a pleasure to meet so many talented and accomplished people! However, I hope that they choose a different hotel for their reunions in the future. The Shawnee Inn was poorly managed and ill-prepared for our group of 93 guests. The front desk was uninformed about most things, such as where to find various activities, which rooms were booked for certain events, whether the spa was available, whether breakfast was available, where the lost and found was located, etc. The guests had to do their own research to answer these questions (it helped that RuMBA had a group chat on Facebook). The card keys were not working to open the room doors, so each of us had to go to the front desk to get a new key about 3-5 times. The beds were too small to share with another person, especially considering that we were sleeping with people we had not met before. I had assumed that everyone was going to get their own bed, even if four people share one room, but that was not the case. The spa was inexplicably closed on Sunday (why would you close a spa on Sunday at a weekend resort?) and there were no open timeslots on Saturday, so I could not get the massage that I was looking forward to getting. But the worst part was the River Room restaurant on the main floor of the hotel. We were supposed to network there during breakfast every day, but the hostess (who turned out to be also the manager) refused to seat us all as we came in. So if my friend was already sitting at a table, this hostess would not allow me to sit at the same table, but rather made me wait 20 minutes until another table became available, so that I could sit there alone. This hotel has no concept of what a networking event is. Please let us sit together and chat to each other freely next time!

We had the time of our lives on this amazing trip! :)

Everything was wonderful! The only thing - DJ lost half of the people on the dance floor already after the first hour. It was one of the shortest dance parties compared to the previous retreats. I hope that the next time we will have a new DJ who will feel the mood of the crowd.

Great people, great location, great amenities and food, a bit more order to schedule would be great.
