About this trip
This is a self guided proposal that travels along Ruta 40 towards the south, for an off-road adventure.
In this Cañadones area, nature has shaped the landscape over millions of years, creating a unique stone monument along with other wonderful formations. Besides Los Alerces National Park is a beautiful protected area with lakes and ancient forest.
Follow the steps of Butch Cassidy & Sundance Kid when they were on the run and find shelter in a ranch in Cholila. Here the gravel, the Patagonian steppe and the lonliness got them cover. To get there, you will cross the beautiful valleys in the Andean Shire and you'll experience the variety of landscapes in Patagonia from the dense forests to the dry steppe.
Of course enjoy the local wonders of the regional food and rest in cozy hotels to make the most out of your adventure.
