We had a great time! The weather was perfect during our hike and our guide Pepe is the best! His English and knowledge about the culture, flora and fauna in the area is superb. The freshly prepared breakfast and lunch by our assigned chef are delicious. All package inclusions were provided with good quality.

Great trip! Edy our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the significance of the trail. Balbino the chef cooked excellent food. I was stunned by what he was able to serve while on the trail. Special thanks to Jilmar (Gilmar) the porter as well. Would highly recommend Trexperience!

I can't recommend Trexperience enough! My husband and I were lucky enough to have had two great experiences with Trexperience during our time in Cusco. The first was the Short 2 day Inka Trek. Thanks to our wonderful guide Sara we had the best time. Sara was so kind, professional and passionate. We learned so much on our trek about the Inka history and Andrean culture thanks to Sara. Our second experience was a Trek to Rainbow Mountain and The Red Valley. Our guide Jose (PePe) was fantastic and so much fun. We had a wonderful day climbing the mountain with him. During both of our trips we had comfortable transportation and a smoth journey thanks to the Trexperience drivers. Additionally on both days we had freshly prepared breakfast and lunch made by the Trexperience chefs. This food was some of the best we had during our trip in Peru. Thank you to our tour guides, drivers, chefs and porters for not one, but two great trips. We are so grateful. Lots of love from Ireland ☘️

Our family of five just returned from an unforgettable journey in Peru, completing the 4-day, 3-night Inca Trail Hike and arriving at Machu Picchu on New Year’s Eve. This trip was nothing short of spectacular! Our kids—ages 26, 24, and 20—enjoyed every moment as much as we did. First and foremost, our guides, Pepe and Sebastian, made this adventure truly memorable with their engaging storytelling and constant encouragement along the trail. As a 54-year-old, I can attest that this was one of the most physically challenging experiences I've ever faced. Be prepared for some early mornings (ranging from 3:30 to 4:30 AM) and a rigorous hike through incredibly varied terrain—it's tough to say what’s harder, the uphill or the downhill! Walking sticks are essential! You’ll spend considerable time reflecting, pushing through personal barriers, and summoning the will to keep moving. But the feeling of accomplishment when reaching a mountain peak or arriving at the campsite each evening is indescribable. While Machu Picchu is the ultimate destination, it was the journey leading there, the camaraderie among our group, and the delicious meals that stood out the most. We bonded with fellow hikers from the U.S., Germany, the UK, and Australia—sharing laughter and stories that will last a lifetime. A special shout-out to our amazing chef, Ceasar, and his assistant, who prepared the most phenomenal meals deep in the Amazon forest. I’m still in awe of how they crafted unique and delicious dishes day after day, even culminating in a full-sized cake on our final day! We had 20 porters assigned to our group, and they were truly superhuman. Their speed in breaking down camp and surpassing us on the trail while carrying heavy loads was impressive! They are some of the hardest working and most friendly people we’ve ever met. Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to Pepe and Sebastian for your patience and support as I often lagged behind on the climbs. Your encouragement kept me going, and my family will forever treasure this Inca Trail adventure in our hearts and memories. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
